The quality of Calamari is great, while being far less expensive than its competitors. My employees have had little trouble getting set up. Their customer service is also HIGHLY responsive and helpful.

The UI is not perfect. For time off tracking it is sufficient, but for time tracking it is tricky to figure out. I only have one employee who even might have used it, so we opted not to pay for that feature.

Before calamari we always had a problem to clarify who is available and many hours people were working. There was always a guy who add some hours. Now we have everything in one app

Some of my workers say it has some bugs - on their phones calendar doesn't work

Simple to use, easy to set up and manage

features that we used to have included are now separated out and require further licencing. Also the WFM feature for breaks / lunches lacks more sophisticated features compared to others on market

a Bulk system to review bad entries. Some coworkers are very bad at sign in to Calamari, and the administration people has to change one by one.

It is mostly easy to use however, the reporting functionality is not as robust as we wish it could be

It is very easy to schedule time off and fairly easy to set up everything at the beginning.

There is nothing that I dislike. As with all software, there are always a couple of minor things I would do differently, but I am very satisfied with this product.

Some settings could be confusing to use especially when setting the accrual.

Ease of employees logging in their vacation and sick time. Visibility to all on one calendar. Less administrative burden on keeping track of time off. And there is a mobile app that helps our salespeople who are on the road see who is off in the office.

The calendar view could show a bit more detail on the absence up front. As of now you have to "hover" over the individual to see if they are off the entire day or just taking a couple of hours off.

Simple to use for the normal user, simple overview for attendance in calendar view.

Difficult to set up (solved by free assistance, but sometimes I would prefer to do things on my own).
I would also like to get better reports in the system (not to print or download) but to just view and see status - there are so many options that it always takes time to find the correct view. Usually I end um using the setup part to see the information I want.

Everyone know actual holiday,sickness, work online or not.

That work online and holidays look the same. Icons ahould be different.

Calamari has all features. No malfunctioning witnessed.

We have loved using Calamari for PTO requests, syncing holiday & PTO calendars across our team. It integrates with Slack, making it easy to respond & request.

We haven't come across any aspects of Calamari that we don't like!

I love the customer service and willingness of the admins to help.

Nothing. Even if something is not working or there is no such feature we needed we always could count on the Admin team.

We needed a vacation/absence tracker with approval processes, and Calamari generally works quite well for that purpose.

The user interface is a bit clunky, and the vacation tracker doesn't always accurately predict available time into the next annual period.

As a user, my experience with Calamari.io has been overwhelmingly positive, thanks to its intuitive interface and the seamless integration capabilities it offers.

Mobile app problem with starting/stoping a clock

After setting up everything (employees, projects, holidays etc.) it is very fast and easy to use both for main users (technicians and supervisors) and for management.

Necessity to configure everything - it was really time consuming but worth it.
