I've been working with this system for years now, and i learnt how to develop new functions, work with its hooks, customize everything. So, for me, it would be difficult to switch to another product right now. It integrates perfectly with wordpress and use same mechanisms, so i find working with it very compfortable.
Pros
That is free, is open source and have a lot of integrations.
Cons
Out of the box, according to me, misses some important features that should have been standard.

I have tried various ecommerce platforms, but none of them compare to Woocommerce. Whenever I set up websites for clients, I always choose Woocommerce for their ecommerce needs. Based on my extensive experience testing popular ecommerce platforms, I can confidently say that Woocommerce is the best option. I highly recommend it, especially for beginners or users with limited technical ability. It is powerful, comprehensive, and works flawlessly. Throughout all my usage, I have never encountered any glitches or disappointments.
Pros
I love how reliable, easy-to-use, and beginner friendly it is - in particular for an experienced WordPress user.
Cons
It is a bit on the pricey side if you want to add any of their featured plugins.

Semi-"native" to WordPress environment.
Great for beginners with a small inventory and a limited number of unique SKUs.
It's a good choice for people who will outsource inventory management and/or their ecom-web-dev.
Cons
Ease of use is nearly non-existent, great for low-level customization ecom stores.

Pros
What I like most about Woocommerce is that it is easy on the pocket. I can start an ecommerce project with little to no money and Woocommerce will help me take off on the right foot.
Cons
The thing I like least about woocommerce is the data security and intergration with other tools. Too many bugs that make it a not-very-goo-option for the less tech savvy.

Our experience and mine overall are great. There are hundreds of third-party integrations running efferently along with this platform, which makes managing an e-commerce very simple out of the box. It is easy to add many products variations, different kind of inventories, pricing features, and so other.
Pros
FreeEasy to use, understand, install and manage. Very customizable since runs on WordPress
Cons
It supposedly might find hard to work along with thousands of items and tremendously visited websites. We haven't faced many issues so far.
Reasons for Switching to WooCommerce
No way any of those competitors might race WooCommerce at any level other than supper stores, and I keep some doubts WooCommerce get difficulties at large scale as many people claim. In first place, it is the only completely free alternative of the market working along with WordPress, which provides a lot of customization power with ease. Additionally, there are several payment gateways providers, and you can decide your best rate other than getting tied by a particular fee in platforms such as Wix or Shopify. And talking about Magento, WordPress happens to be more user-friendly either for developers or Search Engines.- Industry: Information Technology & Services

Very positive as it allowed us to launch our store in less than a day.
Pros
Our clients store was built around SEO and creating high quality reviews / blogs was an important requirement. Therefore, WooCommerce was a great alternative to Shopify due to the blogging management being much simpler on WooCommerce, and knowing Woocommerce is based on wordpress it was a no brainer. Combined, with the ability to customize it with plugins made it the best solution for us.
Cons
Learning curve is a little steep. Additionally, if you want a custom theme it might take some time to set up the store to your exact requirements.

This is a must have, if you have an eCommerce store

Pros
Great free option to Shopify. Actually, this must be the only option for an eCommerce starting out. I have been using them for years, with great success. If you have a WordPress site, adding WooCommerce is very easy. Most of the WordPress themes out there support WooCommerce. Also, there are great integrations with WooCommerce, like Stripe for payment processors.
Cons
Everything is very easy to use. I have nothing to complain about. Overall great platform! Congratulations to the developers, they are doing a great job!

In general, I think that Woocommerce is the easiest and cheapest way to create professional and pretty functional e-commerce, and is well integrated with other tools in WordPress.
Pros
It's a free tool, easy to implement with WordPress as a plugin, a lot of free third party plugins available to enhance the functionalities.
Cons
I always face the difficult situation of remember in which place I can find the different functionalities, besides, the paid third parties plugins are very expensive.

I used WooCommerce to set up my second e-commerce store. (https://www.fawnandmoose.com) The first one was done using Shopify which took a similar amount of time but was very frustrating. Woo worked great. A few days later, our website became a fully functioning store! We've since added a store to Instagram and Facebook connected to our site.
Pros
The tutorials and support make setting up your e-commerce store relatively easy. But don't just SKIP over the details. Take time. Read carefully and follow the steps exactly.
Cons
It can be complicated due to all that it does. You need to read instructions carefully and follow the steps exactly to avoid getting lost.

Very solid, reliable system that continues to deliver results even after years of use.
Pros
Right out of the box, WooCommerce is a solid, good system with plenty of options. But even if you need a special feature, there are tons, tons of modules/add-ons/extensions available. I believe it is a system used by countless companies, and I am one. I have used it for over 6 years and continue to use it. The system works well and continues to get better. I have even used it with various payment processing platforms and no issues at all.
Cons
I hope that they continue to expand the features and begin to add more AI functionality, and even include product review videos, that would be nice.

Overall, WooCommerce exceeds our expectations and we will keep using for the years to come!
Pros
I am fond of WooCommerce to be honest. For the past 8 months, we have reached figures we would never have made without WooCommerce. Managing order right from our mobile devices, changing order statuses from on-hold to completed, after matching with the financial records was so fast and easy. The ability to add custom notes be it for the customer (who receives a note) or privately (for our team) was game changing in terms of customer management. It is like having both a product management system and a CRM within the same dashboard.
Cons
Many of the useful features are paid add-ons, for instance the shipping status updates.
