Pros
Ahrefs gives me access to information such as backlink strength, thorough traffic analysis, insights into particular pages, and useful advice for doing site audits. I use it's backlink analysis, keyword research and audit tool the most.
Cons
Ahrefs is a feature-rich SEO tool, but it's relatively expensive compared to other tools and the free version is limited.

Ahrefs offers incredible amounts of SEO data and analytics tools, which are essential for the planning and execution of our marketing strategy. You can get up-to-date health stats of your website, SEO optimisation suggestions, site audits of competitors, an extensive database of keywords and backlinks - all in one place.
Pros
This is a highly comprehensive and powerful tool, providing access to data that is essential for establishing and improving your domain's SEO authority. It has an intuitive interface and allows you to quickly analyse websites, keywords and backlinks. They also have an informative YouTube channel, which can be useful to beginners.
Cons
If you use Ahrefs very actively, as we do, costs stack up quickly. Some of the functionalities are behind extra paywalls, which is understandable, but every plan allows you only 500 credits per user for viewing any individual keyword, website audit, etc., regardless of your pricing plan. You have to pay separately to buy more credit packages.

Overall, Ahrefs is a tool I cannot put down. If I truly had to limit myself to one SEO tool, it would be this one.
Pros
Ahrefs makes it very easy to get literally loads of very reliable and informative data which helps me to make the best decisions possible when it comes to SEO content strategy. The backlinks reporting features are particularly useful for understanding where backlink growth is coming from organically. Keyword research section of the tool is pretty much perfect, especially in comparison to other leading tools.
Cons
Honestly the credits system is a bit of a pain, it was better before when the only thing that was limited was the number of data exports you could run.

I will continue use Ahrefs with most of my client's projects for its simplicity of use and quick and intuitive user interface, and great email alert service.
Pros
The inspection tools. They grant me a great view of what i need to fix on my website, and i find it more clear than Google Page Speed and google Console.
Cons
Some of the most interesting tools are paid ones, without the chance to try them in a limited way or with a trial.

Some of the features were limited in use and other features were only available in much higher priced plans.

Comprehensive but baffling in its complexity

Pros
Everything you need is there, and a whole stack of things you probably won't.
I realize that lots of people love to sit all day delving into figures, and others need to deep dive into specifics for other reasons.
So I used it for a very long time and it was very good.
Cons
But eventually it dawned on me that we were paying a premium for stuff, as a small company, we really didn't need.

Pros
It was extremely powerful, way too powerful for what I was using it for, SEO for a new affiliate blog.
Cons
The marketing is that you need either this or SurferSEO to do keyword research and SEO. I would recommend you skip both until you are making enough money to pay for them.

Pros
I love the backlinks insights, it offers the most reliable and up to date statistics for number of links and the measures of quality and trust are really unique to this tool.
Cons
Its overall very good, the interface does not visually look the best. As such with so many features it can be easy to get lost.

Firstly, the absence of a comprehensive mobile SERP (Search Engine Results Page) overview is somewhat limiting in an era where mobile search is on the rise. Overall I am very satisfied with Ahrefs and I believe it is one of the most useful SEO tools to identify new market opportunities, content opportunities, and check competitors performance.
Pros
Ahrefs gives a very detailed information that is very easily accessible. We use it often to identify new opportunities within the market as well as check competitors performance. Their SERP features allows us to look into the SERP without manually checking them and their position history chart allows us to look into the position movement over the past 2 years.
Cons
The least favorite part on Ahrefs is that you cannot select a certain set of keywords and get reports on it (at least not with the plan we use). We would need to manually go in and look up each keyword to figure out the performance on those keywords whereas some competitors allows us to register keywords and get automated reporting on its movement.

Pros
The backlink profile is my favourite feature on the platform as is the ability to really filter in and out the keywords list to really find what you're looking for.
Cons
We had an issue with changing ownership of the account which took longer to resolve than expected, but i understand for security reasons it's better to be safe than sorry.

- The best part is its site explorer feature. It gives a detailed on-page and technical audit of you website.- It has a easy to use interface- It gives all the necessary information you need for your site analysis or competitor as well. You can check Backlink Profiles, Site Structure, Keyword research and tracking and much more.- Its Chrome extension is pretty amazing, you can easily check the website metrics from the ahref extension itself.
Cons
It's a bit expensive, apart from that there is no such thing that i don't like. As it depends on your experience that how you use this tool.

Ahrefs: worth the learning curve

Pros
Drilling down for useable information is absolutely possible. It's great to have the ability to receive data that will focus and target our needs.
Cons
The learning curve is a bit steep. You almost have to know what answer (data) you want to know that the results will be useful. The depth of Ahrefs is fantastic until you don't know of what it's fully capable, so you might miss some data or precise results.

Pros
Keyword research is really easy - the filters allow you to drill down into specific niches. Great for newer websites looking for content easier to get ranked.
Cons
Lack of data on lower volume keywords which can often be golden nuggets. Hopefully Ahrefs will continue to add more data.

- Lowest DR: sort keywords that have a ranking position in the top results, but a lower DR than the one you set
- Target: check rankings positions for any URL, while doing keyword research
As for the search volumes, we're always updating them. The last ones are available till January 2023.

Not so Bad When it comes to keyword tracking

Pros
I have been using ahref from last 2 years and what feature I liked in the product is the website audit which let's me know any flaws on the website. Also the keyword tracking is super.
Cons
What is don't like about the product is that it doesn't give you much insight about the competition.
