It is a combination of all you need: visuals, analysis, data cleansing in one place, which has lots of native connectors.

Power BI is not the most efficient tool in terms of operatinal memory, and it lacks some features which you would expect it to have.

It's ability to create incredible dashboards, and even when it requires certain level of knowledge, it is relatively easy to use.

You have to be very careful when handling large amount of data, it can slow your views.

My favorite feature of Microsoft Power BI is its intuitive interface, which makes it simple to create visually appealing and interactive reports. Connecting to various data sources and gaining access to real-time insights has greatly enhanced decision-making and quicker business processes.

Power BI sometimes fails to update in real-time as expected, which is one feature I dislike. Waiting for the most recent data to appear can be annoying, especially if dealing with larger datasets or slower refresh rates.

It's a strong product, it's easy to get started, and pull in data from Excel and SQL DB's (especially Microsoft SQL server)

The pricing structure and licensing understanding is a bit tough to get your head around.

I think it's neat what this application can produce

I find it a little difficult to understand how to use, even after watching some training videos

Can be tricky sorting thru reports until you get the hang of it.

The numbers shown are highly sensitive to errors and the raw data must be uploaded carefully to ensure there won't be issues with the reports

The ease of use allows for daily access of the stores information. It give us the opportunity to compare numbers to the previous year and see any trends

The charts created can be easier to read. The x and y axis aren’t usually labeled so if we are looking at the chart without knowing what info it is charting it can be confusing

It is one of the best analytics tool and the cloud storage enhances its ease of use. Also it is easy to collaborate on reports and other stuff.

There is no bottlenecks in the tool but sometimes it slows down a bit when handling very large datasets.

Data processing speed and rich functionality covering any possible reporting request. Desktop version is free.

Since Power BI is a part of Microsoft suite it might be a bit hard to integrate Power BI with different platform.

Very functional and has plenty of view options

Its an easy to use tool that allows you to analyze data like a pro. The tool has many features and capability such as statistical analysis, data cleaning, reporting and data visualization. It offers seamless integration with Microsoft ecosystem.

There is nothing that was so odd with the tool.

Power BI is very robust! There's no report that we cannot get out of it with the right integrations.
I love that its customizable and integrates with a lot of other programs.

Steep learning curve especially if you have to create dashboards from scratch.
We also sometimes experience problems with the way data translates across different platforms.

The possibilities to create very complex reports

You need a lot of SQL experience to create complex reports.

Very easy to connect to a wide variety of datasources such as sharepoint List,SQL Databses and excel files .
The data transform option supports a wide variety of data manipulation and data cleaning options which makes data modelling very easy
It supports a lot of inbuilt visualization graphs and figures with an easy drag and drop functionality.

Only the data loading while working on large datasets takes a lot of time if that can be improved a really great tool

This is one of the best analytics tools on the market. We can combine multiple data sources into 1 report, create relationships and many other amazing things.

The licensing and limited capabilities to share to others. Also, it requires a lot of memory to run on a laptop, I recommend buying some additional RAM
