The addition of Power BI integration and the ability to add custom fields to the vendor master and the 1099 information will greatly simplify our work, both in the present and in the future. We can generate a bespoke audit trail report covering all of our suppliers in one fell swoop.
Pros
All required fields for each client's daily deliverables are easily accessible, and the system is flexible enough to accommodate the addition of new data as needed; it can also synchronize with a wide variety of other platforms, like BILL, Nexonia, and many more.
Cons
Sage Intacct does not yet handle all payment methods, and its Inventory module is inadequate for businesses that also require assistance with inventory accounting and management.

Pros
The multi-entity functionality is fantastic. We converted from QBO and it's taken a large burden off having to keep each entity in balance with the others. Cost was also very competitive for all the product offers.
Cons
I don't have a great answer for this. We had some issues at conversion but if we had tested more thoroughly, we would have found them much sooner.

it tracks what we need but the info is not easy to view with reporting.

It is very expensive and reporting is not easy. It is actually very cumbersome to create new reports.

The ease of adding locations or additional accounts.
Cons
Too expensive for the small portion that we use. It won't be long until we will have to switch to another provider if prices continue to increase.
Recommend a "lite" version with limited access for non-profit users.

Overall I love the Sage Intacct product. If I know of anyone looking for new software, I tell them that this is the product to get and have. I'm constantly looking at the additional modules that are being added on and built upon to see how we can utilize it for our businesses. Our organization is comprised of roughly 30 different entities, most of which have similar ownership, but they're in very different industries, and Sage helps us keep it all together on one platform and gives us everything we need in order to handle all that we do.
Pros
They're constantly investing in making their product better based on what their users are telling them that they need or want to see. There seems to be no limit on what they will do to make sure that everyone that uses their product is satisfied.
Cons
We had a period of time when things were just out of control in our finance offices, and reviewing the release notes wasn't even a blip on anyone's mind as a priority. Turns out that while we were losing our minds, features were rolled out that might have helped us that we missed because we didn't review the release notes, and they were features that needed added to a role to even see them or know they existed if you didn't review the release notes. More than likely an "us" problem more so than a Sage problem, but if we had known that was possible, it might have changed our "priority" thinking.

Pros
It's on-line. It's rarely "down." Most screens are easy to navigate. There are many options on how to pull data out of the system. I like the dashboard.
Cons
I have to purchase AssetEdge from WIPFLI for Fixed Asset management.
It is very hard to find the Helpdesk Ticketing System. I wonder if it is obscure on purpose.
I still have not become an expert on report writing. The concept just hasn't "sunk in." I think the training could be improved in this area.

Overall, Sage Intacct is a great product which can potentially save your organization a lot of time, allowing you to focus more on analyzing the data and making better decisions. This is because it automates and simplifies several reporting and accounting tasks for you. It is also very easy to train people to use, and user friendly. Would definitely recommend to others.
Pros
It's so easy to use. It is logical, user-friendly, and it does practically everything. It is definitely one of the top 3 operations/accounting/finance data management tools I have ever experienced (and I have experienced several in my career). The reports are set up for you, right out of the box, with little change needed. The reports are dynamic as well, allowing the user to decide what level of data to retrieve. Ad hoc reporting is also intuitive and easy with the interactive report builder.
Cons
Although it comes out of the box with good structure, sometimes structures can be very challenging to set up (data-flow from/to accounts, roll ups to parent accounts, etc.). But, every database/reporting software has its little caveats.

I would definitely highly recommend Sage Intacct to company's looking to adapt a great financial accounting tool to record their day to day business transactions.
Pros
Sage Intacct has a pretty robust system for all the day to day needs of managing a company's financial information with invoicing, billing, and financial statement reporting. It helps with real time reporting of expenses.
Cons
no complaints as of yet - ease of use is great!

Sage allows our company to know "real time" where we are financially. This allows each of our departments to track their spending against their budget and know if they have the ability to spend or hold back. As mentioned in the pros section, we have greatly enjoyed and utilized the dimensional reporting capabilities of Sage Intacct, leading us to gain valuable insights into our clients' business and their various entities and departments, showing where they lacked profitability, where they can grow, and which areas of the business to particularly direct resources and attention.
Pros
One of the things I value most about Sage Intacct is the dimensional reporting ability that Sage gives to us, which is different from the other solutions our clients have tested. Getting granular about each transaction, allowing statistical accounts to track FTEs, and being able to report BvA trends on our clients' individual locations, departments, and entities leads to better decision making and more efficient business management.
Cons
If there was one thing I would change about Sage Intacct, it would be the control over the general ledger. There were several instances where we were in the midst of training our staff, and while a minor error was made, it was not able to be undone except by reversing out the entire transaction (not simply deleted).

Very user friendly. Each element of the programme I find works well and produces what I need it to.

Currently I do not have any negative thoughts regarding Sage Intacct, I do wish to utilise further areas of it, but my only slight remark would be there is not an easy access to additional help.
