The way Patriot Accounting enables me to automate all accounting at ease is the best aspect ever on my user end.

I hardly come across hindrances when using Patriot Accounting, and I use it on a daily basis at workstation.

This is a very robust accounting solution.

I wish I had paid more attention in college accounting. Unfortunately, ease of use is not a primary strength.

Patriot Software is simple to use, and I recommend it to all of my service-based clients.

So far there is nothing I dislike about the software.

It is an American company that provides customer service based in the USA.

Patriot doesn't have a geolocation service integrated with employees' payroll.

They pick up the line when calling in to Customer Support.

Accessing the training videos is a hassle on top of a hassle. It was not a simplified process. [sensitive content hidden] explained that you need to select "Help Info" at the top of your screen, then type in whatever it is you are searching for. When initially performing a specific search under "Help Info", this would bring up articles rather than training videos. In this regard, the site is not user friendly. Additionally, in speaking with Customer Support over time I became aware there is a lack of clarity and individual support. The default response to a majority of my calls made for specific support in using the product was "I do not have an answer for you; go to our website and perform a search under "Help Info" or play around with it; you're smart." Customers do not always have time to do so and receiving a rote response when calling for "support" is not helpful in any case. Patriot Software Staff must be trained specifically for this reason.

It's like having your own accountant at your finger tips.

I wish they would also handle all my yearly audits from my insurance company and also the State of Maryland yearly audits as well, my old accountant handled that for me.

I can integrate it with payroll. It's pretty simple to use.

The idle time before log out needs to be done away with. I use my software dozens of times during the day and generally have to log back in about half of those times and the software apparently won't let my computer save the log in info so I have to enter it every time. I don't like that the payroll checks are not listed separately in the check register. Makes it aggravating when trying to reconcile with bank statement. I wish it would print the invoice numbers being paid on vendor checks. I would also like the "check all" choices to be gone. I would rather check the ones I need instead of first having to uncheck all. I also need to be able to enter vendor credits.

I can adjust the amount I need to cover payroll as often as needed. Adding new employees is a snap

Sometimes it’s hard to produce the reports I need such as for Workers Comp.

This software has been helping our company do great with our accounting tasks. The entire accounting team loves how easily and efficiently it helps to get the work done.

So far, we are happy with it in general.

Setting up the beginning ledger is a bit frustrating. Cannot seem to get accounts to balance. Will end up having to refer to our accountant to make adjustments.

There is no guessing. The portal will ask pointed questions to properly distribute costs and income appropriately.

Compared to what we had from other online service (QuickBooks) they ask a ton of questions, not only for current, but from previous entries. It was certainly an adjustment, although the results should be much better for all affected parties.

This software is easy to set up and even easier to use. I work for a small firm with only a couple of employees. Our payroll needs are fairly simple and Patriot is intuitive and has robust information available when needed.

There is nothing I dislike about Patriot. I guess it would be nice if there was a mobile app that allowed me to run payroll remotely from my desktop.

The customer service is absolutely amazing. I’m definitely NOT a numbers or bookkeeping person, & I was skeptical about being able to use any accounting software, but even in some areas where I had a mess they worked with me to not only resolve but to understand the situation. I can’t say enough about how pleased I am.

I would love payment options of credit card or checking account

Ease of use. Multiple reports. A must have for our business!!

Usually need to convert reports to other formats for my auditors or tax professionals. But is no biggie.

Their customer service is good and the software is pretty easy to use. Their pricing is also reasonable.

It can be difficult moving from a different accounting program to this one. Some of the accounts payable entries are time consuming. Sometimes it seems like there are extra steps required that are unnecessary.

It was a straightforward and easy to use tool to manage payroll. We didn't need a lot of bells and whistles, just something simple that could allow our teachers to see their bi-weekly paystubs and tax reporting at the end of the year.

Nothing, the tool helped a small business like ours provide the Accounting capabilities we needed.

Easily keeps track of accts payables, payroll liabilities, and all other expense accounts.

I am not an accountant or even a bookkeeper, but I fill these rolls in my business. It appears a few IRS forms are not available and I would like a feature to keep track of self employment tax and estimated tax payments that may be due to help me better meet my tax responsibilities.

The hope I had before I tried it was the best part for me.

I couldn’t make it function for me- I really wanted to have this work for me.

Pros: simplicity of use, high value with investment, ability to troubleshoot with a real person with limited Wait time!!

Cons: For any small business, to me, it far surpasses the market space for ease of use, customer service, and integration.

It works great for what I have had the ability to use it for. However it’s very expensive considering for the last year o am only able to is it for onvoice tracking.

It works as should but software won’t link to my account so I am not able to use it for anything more then invoicing.
