I don't need to have programming skill to make animations and professional videos, is easy and instinctive to use.

I wish there were more avatars and more variety of animations and the option to adjust and share at tiktok.

What I like most are the animations, because some of them come pre-animated and you just have to put them. Another thing is that everything is very good quality.

What I don't like is that you have to pay mostly for everything, so you dont have a variety of free templates or animations to use.

This is a super simple app to create fun and vibrant communications pieces either with cartoons or video.

I think customer service could be much better. I don't think I've ever gotten ahold of a live person.

still, the media library is very limited in a variety of themes, and the max video quality is not very high

I needed to find software on short order for a volunteer product I was doing. I was able to learn it pretty quickly and product something to help the organization out. It was fairly easy to learn and I was able to make a decent animated video in a weekend.

I hadn't used the software for like 6 months and wasn't sure I'd use again, but missed the window to cancel the renewal until it hit my credit card. I contacted the company right away to explain that I used it just for volunteering and ask for a refund. They could check my history to see I hadn't been using. Not only did they not refund me. They ghosted me. I emailed a second and third time, but they never even answered.

As for the product itself, they mixed in elements that were not included on my plan with those that were, requiring me to backtrack in some cases export my video w/o upgrading. Many of the elements were too cartoony for my taste. The export limits were kind of confusing.

Easy to use for very good quality job results.

The characters don't have a 'walk' animation as option ...

You can put multiple layers of text on one slide and customize where it will show up.

They have absolutely zero content. They say they have marketing videos but they are only 10 seconds long and random. We no longer use this software.

This has been a recent addition to us, we came across it by accident looking for new characters for our powerpoint videos. This software has everything prepared and ready to go, with any type of animated creation it still takes time but having all the tools built-in ready and to hand saves a lot of time and frustration. Creating mini-presentations for young people has been a lot easier since we signed up.

The only con I have is that there could be more ethnic characters, this can be a little limiting for us as most of our client base are ethnic we like to use characters that look like them.

It turns a newbie into a potential animating pro. Or it makes us seem like pros. I made an amazing youtube video with it on my free trial and really loved the result and creative possibilities.

It is unfortunately, not cheap and a bit above my budget for limited use. Great for those who need it professionally though.

Powtoons provide the appealing and captivating animations for a range of uses, including presentations, proposals, demonstrations, infographics, online advertisements, digital manuals or guides, and brief animations, to mention a few. With Powtoon's intuitive interface, it's never been difficult to create and share original animations with great available template which can play around with till you get something nice and interesting . Animations created by users can be shared via email and social medias as well as online.

Within the application, creating a new custom action is very impossible. A video is in revision mode once it has been published, and there are very few editing choices available at this time.

The ease of use and the end result! You can create very professional looking animations in a short time. I have used them for educational videos and website guides, and they had great results!

Some features (like more than 5 exports per month) are in a higher pricing range. This is not a huge problem, but something to consider if you want to upload a lot of social media content.Also, custom fonts and character customisation is in a very high pricing tier.

This is my go-to presentation creation software, far better than Power-Point slides. It is clear they are constantly improving their platform with new features and updates appearing regularly in the system, and I've watched over the years how the platform has continued to improve. I've not been able to find anything comparable in price and features on the market.

Occasionally there is a delay in the uploading of content, likely processing time for information to communicate between servers. Also, I wish there were an improvement on the way to render/download a mp4 file. Currently it renders it on the server and sends an email to download. I wish there were just a simple render/download button available on the program.

This app has helped us be creative in making our job posting fun and interesting

It is a very good software to make video marketing or educational videos, extremely easy to use and in relation to price and benefits it has a lot of quality. With it you can make animations without having previous experience, you just need to drag and drop and that's it. The 2d and whiteboard animations as well as the transitions will make you love it. It will save you a lot of time editing and creating content.

I think basically what I don't like is that you have to pay a bit of a price to be able to personalize your branded content. That if you put it on a scale, freelancers or people who start creating content may not be able to afford it. In addition to the fact that Pow Toon has not had an update for a long time, to put it in a big way, and it is lagging behind software like Create Studio.

I liked how easy it was to create a Powtoon video with an extensive media library including characters, music, sounds, and images. There are many templates to choose from for the background of the Powtoon

The function to download and export option in Powtoon can be frustrating, as there are many technical difficulties that arise with the website.

PowToon is a great software that one can use to create attractive, creative presentations using cartoon characters. The animations are fun and interesting and the great transitions make it more fun to watch and keeps your audience engaged,

A major plus is that the character set is diverse and there are a lot to choose from. There is also lot of support and tutorials online for users to learn from.

Lovely software, but one of the cons that I encountered was that when my projects got too large, its seems to use a lot of CPU power because my computer lags.

Another con, for those user who love freebies, the free version has a lot of restrictions.

Everything! I love all the features and have used it extensively for work. Other parts of our global organization are starting to use it too. I started the trend - and now even our Headquarters in Atlanta are using it!

Would love more culturally appropriate characters - and also the hands that are featured in the 'whiteboard' piece - can we have options to make them not only Caucasian?

My assistant was able to make some pretty cool videos very quickly, despite limited technical experience with video creation. The tool presents a variety of diverse characters with stock animations for different moods or actions (e.g., explaining, gesturing angrily, looking bored). The audio recording tool allows you to retry if you're unhappy with a take, and was reasonably painless to use. The animations were simple to string together but more visually interesting than what you can produce in PowerPoint.

We created a lesson plan for instructors to use where the learners responded using PowToon projects, and these were a hit. It gives them an alternative way to communicate their ideas and again, is quite easy to use.

We were not using the pro version of the tool, so we were limited in access to characters, scenes and icons. That said, the free version provided a very smooth experience. If you do not upgrade, there will be a PowToon logo and music appended to your video, and some animations will have limited customizability (e.g., a character animation may loop ad nauseum).

It is also easy for a junior designer to get caught up in the capabilities of the tool and lose focus on the quality and structure of the content. It's easy to add too much irrelevant on-screen animation and so detract from your message.

It has very professional and dynamic templates, it also has a great variety of animations that allow you to improve your presentations and also the image quality of your presentations, it's very good.

Some animations are a bit difficult to implement.

I use PowToon for my business. I can make any kind of video like animation video, Whiteboard animation, presentations etc. Which helped me to increase more leads and sales. It is a drag and drops tool. Anyone can make high-quality video ads in minutes for any kind of platform. You can play with characters, import your own audio for video etc.

I don't find any cons with PowToon right now.

I like that I can easily produce animated videos for myself and clients without technically being a "video animator" on more complex software. Oftentimes, I only need a portion of a video to be animated or need a clip of animated typography, which I can now easily accomplish on Powtoon to later insert into my overall video creation.

There are some fine-tune controls that are lacking in the software, like setting timing in less than one-second increments.
