Businesses can respond to reviews too, so they’re held responsible for how they treat customers. For example, a couple of months ago I had a terrible experience with a travel company. I was not having any luck with them. I attempted to post my complaint to BBB, but for some reason they rejected my complaint. I tried again and they said it was a duplicate complaint and rejected it. I came to Trustpilot to let others know of my experience and hopefully hear from someone higher up in the business.
