loom is very easy to use, a plug-and-play kind of situation and I can get my presentations done without much hustle.

Loom primarily operated as an online tool. This means that users need an internet connection to record and access their videos.

Ease of use, speed to Learn how to use it. It’s really easy to show clients and colleagues how to so something on a system using a screen recording.

Nothing, I can’t fault this software it’s a no brainer for me.

The browser extension, while seemingly practical, didn't work well for me at all. Most of the time I had to use the main app instead.

I'm unsure about the security of the recordings. If there is confidential information on my screen when I record it, I don't know how safe that info is.

Required me to rethink how to collaborate, but once the penny dropped this has been a huge time saver. Quick and easy to record videos to the team and tutorials for clients. All the edit functionality is really powerful and so can crop and triple my video without having to start again

Would love the ability to annotate on top of the video

I started using this app with the free trial. I use it on daily basis since I work a lot with customer service and it is much easier a very short video explaining any process. Everything is automated! The system will just cut pauses and provide title and description of the video with AI features. You receive notification real time from who watched the video. Among colleagues is also useful. Instead of creating manuals and long books explaining all process/rules in place you can just use Loom to show a new trainee how's the job and what he/she should be doing. As remote worker for an international company this has been a game changer. Even when I am off/away my colleague can go to the library of training and see how it is done. Absolutely brilliant app! I am happy to have now the subscription so I can extend the use of AI features.

There is nothing really I did not like about loom so far. I am happy with it, and will attend also webinars

During online teaching, Loom made my work in class much easier. I conveyed correctly, clearly what I wanted to present if I had held the class physically. I easily recorded the lessons for my students.

Easy to make and share videos with team members.

Sometimes I have problems with the recording function if using a browser other than Chrome.

Intuitive and easy to use. I use it a lot for sales.

Sometimes edition is not that easy, and support team isn't the best.

I was extremely happy with the way I could create either product demos or instructional videos with a personal feel. The bubble showing my webcam feed really personalised the experience for my customers.

I would sometimes have audio issues from my microphone. Audio would cut out or be choppy, this only occurred with Loom, other video capture software did not have this issue.

Loom helped make popular the concept of sending screen recordings via a link. After you record a screen-share its quickly uploaded and a link to the video created. It does this much faster than Google drive does.

Sometimes with software like Loom they start with a great concept eg easily make screen recordings that can be quickly shared via a link but then in an effort to improve it they add lots of options that you dont need so the UI is a bit cluttered.

Loom excels in accessibility and usability. Its clean interface ensures a pleasant workflow, enabling smooth recordings and effortless communication channel.

Loom offers screen recording and basic video editing features, users who require more advanced editing options may find the available choices limited.

Being able to include my face in the presentation! It makes everything more fun and engaging!

It sucks that I can't use a background if I am trying to record using the camera only.

It's so much easier to create a quick video whether it's creating snapshots for internal teams or external customers

I can share the screen recording link with anyone. It is comfortable to use.

Sometimes it gives an error when I want to stop the screen recording.

This app just works well! One click to start-stop recording - which is enough for all kind of purposes.

5 mins video limit :) It would be better if Loom can do this 10 mins or more :)

As a freelancer I believe the video recording and screen recording tool is very important, also the collaboration feature. It's very easy to use.

The phone app is very slow when it comes to videos uploading, it sometimes takes hours for the video to be uploaded, they need to fix this.
