It is great for less complicated whiteboard projects
Pros
Since Jamboard is made by Google, I can integrate other tools such as Google Docs and Drive to import and export content.
Cons
Jamboard has a restrictive formatting options. Each presentation is unique and you may want to tweak some things to detail before publishing it but Jamboard does not allow that.

I have been using Jamboard from last 2+ years now, mainly during design sprints to ideate on user journeys and concept flows. It's a very basic online collaboration tool and it doesn't require much learning curve to use it. It is also inexpensive and has been quite handy for our work-from-home/hybrid teams.Overall I love using Jamboard with smaller teams. And I prefer Miro or Figma for brainstorming sessions with the larger audience or with clients/business stakeholders, where I require endless canvas and advance functionalities.
Pros
Jamboard is a fairly simple tool for online brainstorming sessions with smaller project teams. It has a clean UI and provides all the basic features like pen, eraser, sticky notes, shapes, text box, ability to add pictures etc. It is well integrated with other Google workspace apps. You can add up to 20 pages within the same board/project and I love how Jamboard pages have clear demarcation. You can give a walkthrough to your stakeholders, on the outcome of an ideation session, by using the pages in a presentation style.
Cons
One of the major drawbacks of Jamboard is the limitation on board size. Unlike Miro or Figma, it doesn't provide endless canvas. As a result, you can only do a limited amount of work on one board. And you can't customize many things in Jamboard.Jamboard doesn't provide any advance features like video upload, adding timer on board, chat option etc. Additionally, if more than 20-25 team members are working on a board simultaneously, it starts lagging while updating the information on real-time basis.

Jamboard: An Amazing Tool for Education and Creativity

I personally love Jamboard and use it frequently. It is a great place to mock up ideas, create freewrite boards, or collaborative boards. As I said before, it is basically like a digital notebook with special perks, and you could really create anything with it. Want to share a scrapbook with someone? Make a Jamboard. Need to have a collaboration space for students? Make a Jamboard. Want an Idea Board for a home improvement project? You guessed it .. Jamboard! It is an amazingly versatile tool.
Pros
Jamboards best feature is it is just plain simple to use, and the tools it has allows a lot of functionality in the creation of a Jamboard. It is basically a place you can make idea boards, thought boards, sketches, and more, almost like a digital notebook, but better. It has countless uses for sharing as well, and I also like that it is hosted in the cloud so you do not have to worry about making back-ups or losing data.
Cons
Some features I would like to see implemented in Jamboard would be a larger color pallet, as it is limited to basically 6 colors at the moment. I would also love a select tool, because if you need to erase your sketched or written items on the page, you need to use the eraser for that. It would be nice to be able to select and delete a large area if necessary. I would also like the written areas to be movable, as they stay put on the page where they are drawn currently.

Unique Digital Collaboration Tool

Since implementing Jamboard into my classroom, I've watched student engagement increase. Students did originally see the platform as a bit more of a tool, delighting in "messing" with each other's work and pages, but this novelty quickly faded and students soon moved into seamless collaboration.
Pros
Jamboard is a great way to get many users on the same space, collaborating and interacting. It is a great way to get ideas flowing and quickly visible to other users. There are a plethora of tools available that allow all users--both audience and participants--to be involved and engaged in the process of both demonstrating and discussing.
Cons
Sometimes things can be pretty hectic on each page of the Jamboard; this is more a user concern as opposed to a software issue, but depending on the population and age of the users, some significant setup in regard to rules will be needed. Just something to be aware of since the regulations within the software are pretty open-ended, allowing near limitless freedom for each user simultaneously.

Overall experience has been positive. It feels like the product is a very primitive version of other popular products out there for whiteboarding ideas during calls or meetings.
Pros
I most like that Jamboard allows any number of team members on a Meet call to simultaneously doodle and type ideas on a whiteboard that is visible to all participants. This solves even a real-life in person meetings pain point of everyone's idea being pinned up close for everyone else's review.
Cons
I least like that Jamboard isn't marketed enough by Google or isn't available as a separate product outside of Meet calls. This could help ramp up adoption and usage of the tool before anyone has to use it while on a collaborative call.
Reasons for Switching to Jamboard
Because Jamboard is bundled within Meet and since there is heavy usage of Meet calls on Google calendar it becomes the preferred choice for quick whiteboarding generally.- Industry: Utilities

From collaboration to presentation, Jamboard is a fun and interactive way to have people feel engaged in the topic. We use the platform for various reasons and have always had success with Jamboard!
Pros
I really like how jam board feels like a bit of a gamification. Often people aren’t the most outspoken or like to communicate in a different way. I think jamboard does a great of allowing everyone to feel engagement and motivated during ideation stages.
Cons
Everything is great with the tool. I have nothing to put here.

Overall Jamboard has been a great tool for brainstorming and design thinking. I was first introduced to it through online classes, and immediately knew I'd want to adapt it to my business work and personal goal setting.
Pros
Jamboard is easy and accessible. I also appreciate that the boards I create remain private, unlike other whiteboard programs that require a premium membership for private boards. Another great thing about Jamboard is that it doesn't slow down by very old laptop. As it is connected to Google, it is also quite easy to ask people to use Jamboard, or invite them to collaborate on my boards.
Cons
I wish there were more ways to format the stickies. Although having different colors is surely helpful, more heading/text options would be incredibly helpful as well. Overall I'm looking to map things out, and when I'm looking to understand the branching or mapping of an idea or project, the more I can differentiate elements the better I can see the big picture.

In general, I like it very much and I find it very agile and useful in creating shared tasks creatively and in addition to written communication, the team likes to work with reference images, and the main thing is that the layout is simple, beautiful and easy and it breaks a little routine of the screens.
Pros
The platform is very easy to use, the team makes an interactive task board creatively, with the actions of each member. very easy to manipulate and edit through smartphones, it is agile, with a cheerful interface and breaks the monotony of so many everyday screens.
Cons
Although I like and use the platform a lot, one thing I think is bad is that the page size that cannot be formatted makes the work screen limited and that is why some work panels need to be split so they don't get tangled up.

Cons
It would be too simple for more complicated things, like if you wanted to create a really nice image. But I don't see that as the purpose... it's more of a literal blank canvas to get your ideas down.

Jamboard is a wonderful resource for both teachers and students. I have enjoyed sharing it with teachers in my district and love to see the variety of ways it is used in the classroom.
Pros
As a K-12 Instructional Technologist, I use and recommend Jamboard quite often. Jamboard is a great place for teachers and students to collaborate, share ideas, and respond to learning. I commonly use Jamboard during Professional Development for teachers to leave sticky notes and brainstorm with colleagues in addition to providing feedback for me.
Cons
I love all of the updates Jamboard has made this year. Teachers wanted a way to insert text without using a sticky note and that was added this year. They have also requested to be able to lock items in place so that those interacting with their Jamboard won't be able to delete the items.

Pros
Jamboard is quite easy to use. You can share the digital canvas with students or colleagues and work/brainstorm together. Also, it is tightly integrated with the Gmail account and the whole ecosystem.
Cons
I can't get over the fact that you can not make a canvas full screen. It's the thing that comes up most of the time and it should be there from day one. Also, I would like to be able to create a Jamboard from any place on Google Drive and not just have them accumulate on the same folder.

Overall, Jamboard is great for a group of people or for individual coaching. It creates an interactive, visual environment. With some creativity, you can do many different activities with the platform.
Pros
Jamboard is great for visual thinking. I am able to add boards, write on the board via texts, change the colors, duplicate the boards, and move them around. I'm also able to add images, draw, or use the sticky. I have used Jamboard as brain dumps, collective art, or just interactive coaching. It's a basic platform, but once you know how to use it, it provides what is needed for a job well done.
Cons
If a student/client is not logged into google, I have no way of knowing who is contributing to the board. Also, it has a set limit for how many boards you can add. Lastly, when adding a sticky note, it populates in one area, so I usually have to immediately move them around, so we can see everyone's comments.

During distance learning, it is my virtual whiteboard, on which I can write my agenda, objectives, and actual teaching content.
Pros
We can present, teach, share and compile ideas on to the Jamboard with its virtual multicolored post-it notes. I have also used it as a tool to answer questions, gather ideas, and signups for other activities.
Cons
I like most of its features, perhaps if we had the option for each post-it to automatically be placed on the blank parts of the board, as opposed to, being piled on top of each other, as people write on them.
