Great solution for texting users from within Zendesk

Pros
We chose Textline primarily for its Zendesk integration. With the Zendesk integration, there's a Textline window in the right sidebar of each Zendesk ticket. That makes it easy for our customer service reps to send and receive texts with our customers.
We also use the API to automate some text communications with our customers, and Textline's support is helpful with figuring out the best way to use the API to your particular scenario. In our case, they provided us information on an undocumented feature that improved how our text automation and Zendesk work together.
Cons
If you're trying to text from multiple phone numbers, the Zendesk integration won't always show the most recent text conversation with the customer.

Pros
I love the fact that I can manage mass text on a website and not just on my cell phone.
Cons
Not a fan of the contacts page. I manage many mailing lists...feel like the contacts page could be set up better. That's just because I'm used to using a mass email system.

Pros
I like how easy it is to prepare and send a text to all of my patients.
Cons
I don’t love the way I was initially set up as the rules weren’t made clear to me and it took several weeks to fix the issues I needed to fix to get a text out. I also don’t love that I am not alerted via email or text when someone unsubscribes.

Our business had free trials on many competing texting softwares on the market, but we ultimately fell in love with Textline after using it just once. We saw the potential in it, and we have integrated its advanced features ever since. We are confident that Textline is the best texting software for businesses.
Pros
Intuitive, modern, adaptable, and smart. This software is the best of its type. You can use it right off the bat for simple day-to-day usage. However, this software has a lot more to offer in automation. Although it takes some time to learn the ropes, the results are worth the effort. Textline has great value in its adaptability with many business, and their stellar customer support team. They're always quick with helpful responses and they're easily accessible.
Cons
Textline has a clean layout and design. Very modern in its artistic approach. However, with that being said, its approach to a clean work space is not ideal. There is no way to hide old messages from your view. You can only have them fade out by "resolving" them. This can create an overwhelming false-impression of your text inbox.

Pros
We like the integration with our Pipedrive CRM and ability to automate responses when a client texts a keyword. Also, we're starting to pre-schedule custom announcements to our sorted contacts. The TAGing system allows us to upload and sort our contact lists fairly efficiently.
Cons
We can't group parts of client conversations. Example: A client reaches out specifically about a service or product days or months after an initial engagement. It's all in one long conversation. We'd like to see a feature that allows our users to TAG parts of a conversation.

Pros
I love this service. I find that many of my clients will overlook and essentially not respond to emails, but with Textline, their responses are better and they are less likely to ignore or overlook the message content. It's convenient to send a mass text to individuals rather than typing it all out separately.
Cons
I haven't experienced any cons yet, but I will see it in time.

Great Texting Service

Pros
The software works quite well. I used it to send announcements to a group of more than +400 people and it always worked great. I liked the announcement feature and really enabled our group to communicate important details.
Cons
The mobile app could be improved. It doesn't feel native to iOS and some screens did not render well.

We've felt fortunate to find a great, simple to use service that integrates into our current CRM database flawlessly. It's quick and generates much more movement in our customer sign-ups. Text is the communication most used by clients now and it's critical to have something easy to use with key features like scheduling and group texts. Looking forward to a reduction on add-on fees in the future to keep it a viable option for our company.
Pros
Textline is easy to start, easy to use and great to integrate into CRMs you already have. It's quick and simple to send text messages and making group announcements is fairly straightforward as well. If you don't operate on the same timezone as clients, scheduling messages keeps work flowing all the time and responses stay open until you're ready to close them. It's easy to share between users and our clients and colleagues have appreciated the uptick in efficiency.
Cons
The updates made are not always user-friendly especially on mobile versions. Limits on what you can input in messages and setting up contact lists for announcements requires some work arounds. The biggest con is the price you pay for users and then text charges above and beyond the basics.

That it sometimes freezes up at the most hectic times of the day. However overall I am happy with the service it provides to the company I work for.

We used Textline out of the box for a while, and over the years we have hypercustomized it to our needs, and been happy with it all along the way. Their support has been responsive, and their feature set has grown, we are very happy customers.
Pros
Textline is easy to implement, learn, use, and adapt. No matter where someone is on the spectrum of technical savviness, they have an easy time picking up the Textline interface.
Cons
We rely heavily on the Textline <> Zendesk interface. It's really great in most ways, but there are a few specific ways that it hamstrings us. Not really their fault, because Zendesk wants you to use their texting product. Overall using the Textline integration is better for us — but we do miss out on some performance indicators as a result.

Pros
Textline works well with our software in sending automated messaging. It also works well for mass communication.
Cons
Searching is very clunky. It is difficult to find past conversations. An added feature of looking at a contact and being able to see the contact's history of conversations would be very helpful. It is also incredibly easy to accidently send a mass text to all contacts. A warning when a saved search includes all contacts would be extremely helpful. I do also wish they were able to provide customer service earlier than 9am PST as my organization is in EST.

Our experience was great. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was fantastic to deal with. She checked in with me periodically to see if I needed help or training, I never had to seek her out. The great thing is, the software was so easy to use, I had very little questions.
Pros
Textline was so easy to use. It made contacting clients with updates more efficient. And we found we got faster responses when texting clients, than calling clients. We also were able to have our employees keep their personal phones for personal use because of using Textline. The phone app options was also wonderful as we were able to see any emergency texts that came in after hours.
Cons
Price was a bit high, but we saved time, so money well spent

We are a staffing company and 76% of our Candidates do not own a computer, but they all own a smartphone. Textline allows us to engage and communicate with our Candidates more easily than an email ever would. Communication is faster, easier, and more successful. It's the perfect tool for the job!

Pros
What I like is it my entire team can be connected and updated on each text message whether they are at home, at work, or anywhere else. It is very easy for anyone to get caught up on the messages by simply scrolling up and reading, from there, the customer has less frustration since I don’t have to re-explain the situation every time it’s transferred
Cons
My only issue is not being able to transfer messages between departments. For us, it is not super important and can be worked around, but for larger businesses it may be a hassle

Pros
Textline allows me to reach out to hundreds of contacts in a very short time, and then manage those exchanges until a sale is closed. I use it on my desktop AND the app on my mobile phone, so it follows me everywhere. The bulk send feature (Announcements) is the key to my personal productivity each and every day. I could not do my job at the level I do able without Textline.
Cons
Nothing. There are many features I have yet to explore, but for now it's perfect!

Pros
This product helps us work as a team. It has also cut down busywork that has taken up most of our day. We can simply reach out to our candidates for my desktop and track responses within seconds
Cons
So far I have not found anything negative about the software. I wish they had a live customer service number. I did need to text but they were very responsive

Pros
Textline was very easy to deploy and use. Our agents have no issues with the software. The mobile app works well, as does the web app.
Cons
It does not do an amazing job of receiving video.
