I LOVE the possibilities. Pretty much anything you imagine can be brought to live in living color.

Ease of use. I understand that this is a technical program with a serious learning curve but I do feel like some features could be a little easier to execute.

I only tried basic effect but seemed like the software had a lot more to offer.

It's quite difficult to learn and use than premier pro.

I learned to use after effects during high school. Currently I use it on my own mainly to animate my Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, or Illustrator designs. After Effects has made it very easy for me to create short videos, looping sequences or even create animations with stop motion style graphics. I think it is a program that allows you to have absolute control over your ideas and creativity, and above all, a program that is very easy to learn and understand. I really like the fact that you can modify the files within the program and link them directly after opening them in photoshop. I also like that you can import default effects or designs.

I don't like that at the time of exporting, the time it takes to render in video, however short or long it may be, you have to wait a long time. In most cases, if not all, the quality is quite good and I can't complain about that.

Adobe After Effects reminds its position in the special effect software for good reasons.
1. Easy to learn, many tutorial videos available online, you can easily find answer or learn how to use.
2. Compatible with Illustrator and photoshop and Premiere. So you can easily import elements and output the video to timeline without glitch.

The smoothness of the software, easy to use, multiple functionalities.

The versatility. I like how easy it is to import footage and begin adding effects immediately

I wish there was greater alignment between After Effects and other Adobe products.

The pros are numerous. It might be the most powerful video editing tool available. There are many add-ons and mods available to simplify daily routine tasks and take animations to the next level. The user interface could use some work, but overall it's not that complicated once you get used to it.

The biggest problem is pre-renders in the timeline. One tiny adjustment and the entire timeline has to re-render and each time long form content has to re-render can take as long as an hour. Imagine waiting an hour for every edit to pre-render so you can see the result. Yeah, that makes After Effects almost unusable. It's so bad that I have to structure how I film and often break up renders into multiple projects otherwise I would never get anything done.

The Effects i can use any where i want are wonderful in this software even text animations are great and gives a nice toch to my project.

The cons are its only for editing purpose mainly in effects i tried colour grading in it but thats not too good in after effects or it may be i need to master it more.

How well integrated with everything inside the adobe package

AE is a jack of all trades. It does nothing well except motion graphics. VFX is bad, 3D is bad, and video editing is bad.

If your familiar with Adobe software, then using After Effects is a no brainer. it will integrate seamlessly with your work flow and make editing your work a breeze.

Like most Adobe apps/Software the learning curve is a bit steep. However once you have a grasp of the program it proves to be a great resource.

The content library is one of the best features in the product. An artist can create 3d models and add effects, animate and add any footage.

After effects delivers quality results for every motion graphic artist, animation artist and video editor. The only problem with this software is that you need a device with certain hardware requirements in order for you to use it. This makes it a hassle for beginners with the interest to use the software but do not have a suitable device.

The way my finalized project looked. The quality and execution blasted through my expectations.

It can be difficult for a beginner to learn, not impossible though.

It creates really awesome quality animations. Our team is using it to create ad and marketing content and couldn't ask for better product.

At the beginning it felt quite difficult to use. But once you start using and learning, it is really logical tool.

More comprehensive, the video comes out with high quality faster than other programs

Animation work can be done from basic to professional. Transition and color work is very nice.

It's easy to use and integrates with other Adobe products very well.

The version I use doesn't have all the devices to export in the options. But that is only because it's an older version.

I love it to add FX to my videos after having worked on them in Premiere Pro.

I don't really like the fact that it is very heavy on CPU and GPU.
