Overall experience with CPGToolBox is positive as rarely do you find software companies like CPGToolbox that provide personalized implementation and support from the CEO and thru to Technical Support levels.

Pros

* Costs - Only 30% the cost of other TPM solutions
* Implementation - Only 3-4 months compared to 12 months for other TPM solutions
* Platform - Built on Salesforce.com cloud the worlds leading CRM allowing further integration
* Usability - broad functionality with easy to use "walk-me" capability
* Support - fully supported by CPGToolbox from the CEO thru to Technical Support

Cons

* Location - being based in USA does have some face-to-face limitations for non-USA based clients, however, leveraging cloud based video conferencing sessions and coordinated on-site sessions overcomes this limitation.

Service and dedication team to get Trade Planner and Forecast Planner up running with our business...

Service and dedication team to get Trade Planner and Forecast Planner up running with our business requests.
Training process was good to get sales force up to speed. Also, we had great support after training.
Always up to improve system and bugs as they happened.
Up to improve system as they see opportunities coming as example FCST Planner for Shipment forecast created and daily data into SFDC for reporting purposes

Pros

TPM is managing all data as promos, POS, Shipments and settlements. TPM and FCST Planner are linked and can manage Parent with Child accounts which is ideal for our business.

Cons

Reporting into SFDC is not ideal for our business. We had to create our reporting into tableau with third party using CPGTB data pull.
Cloning process needs to be improve on Trade Planner.

I like to be able to split out the deductions to other customers, clearing the deductions.

Cons

I think the promotion viewing needs a little work especially when exporting.

It was a good group of people who worked along side us to implement and train us on a weekly basis. This is a good tool for deductions, settlements, as well as p&l management.

Pros

Cloud Services made it fast and efficient.
Good software platform functionality. Very helpful and responsive teams of customer service and training staff. They listed to our feedback on the platform, and accommodated as needed.

Cons

Some times there were a few features that had errors - however, as mentioned - all inquiries where addressed in a timely manner.

I have used CPG in two different companies, 1 a startup that was driven by distributor and POS data and the second a family run company that is driven by shipment data. the tool allows me to build a demand and trade planner at the same time. As we rollout the tool it will also allow contract deduction and clearing faster than before.

Pros

The functionality and visibility that the software provides for leaders and individual contributors is awesome. ability to plan at customer and sku level for your entire customer base is great. The connectivity to SAP and other platforms within Salesforce allows us to bridge systems together

Cons

Initially flexibility to adjust the software to my needs was met with resistance. Reports and dashboards are not fully operational and lacking in ease of use
