Overall, Adobe Premiere is a great video editing program and is fairly enjoyable to use. As long as your hardware and other specs are up to what they should be, there are minimal stability issues, and it performs pretty great, in my experience. I've tried several other video editing programs, and Adobe Premiere has remained my program of choice for several years now. The ease of use and getting started, the ability to customize my interface into a layout that works really well for me, and the ability to handle multiple types of media types without issue are just some of the features that I love. There is a large community of users that is easy to get support and tips/tricks from, as well as Adobe's support, which have always been responsive and helpful for me. While there are things that it could do better, as a whole it works really well with my workflow and video editing requirements.
Pros
I really like how quickly I can get started editing with this program. I edit a lot of short form, fairly simple videos, and I like how I can just open the app, import my media, and get started. There's not a lot of hoops to jump through, and not a lot of setup that needs to be done just to get going. I love how easy it is to import a wide variety of media types. I rarely have issues with all the different types of media I work with. I love how quick and easy the timeline editing tools are, and using the keyboard shortcuts to quickly move back and forth and get a quick edit together before refining it further. The interface is also pleasant to work in, and not overly crowded or cluttered.
Cons
I often wish that the keyframe editing window and workflow were though out a little better. I find it difficult to use and get them accurately placed and edited without some frustration most times. The keyframe workflow in After Effects is so much better and easier to use, and I feel like the workflow in Premiere is just so much more tedious then it needs to be. I also get frustrated with the audio mixing interface and workflow. Working with audio plugins and automation always gives me issues, and using EQs and compressors and what not are mildly frustrating at best. I don't understand why they can't lay out a mix window the same way that almost everyone else does. I get that it's not an audio program, but audio is a major part of video editing, and it shouldn't be this difficult to get a good mix inside the editor.

So my overall experience is amazing with Premiere pro , so as a freelancer i do a lot of video editing jobs , and some of them are from my permanent customers , and with the help of premiere pro i was able to do all the things that my clients have asked till date . It helped me alot to boost my career as a freelancer . And the most important feature is it's collaboration feature where i can work with my team in real time
Pros
So, talking about the things i like most about this software are, first of all it has a wide variety of format support so you can easily edit video in almost any format. Secondly, it has tons of video editing tools which can performs basic to basic and complex to complex tasks , even they are also bringing some features of automation, like we can automatically get frame cuts , on scene Changes withoout doing it manually , and at last in premiere pro we can work on multiple projects and switch between them seamlessly and also a whole team can work on a single project in real time
Cons
Although there are no things which are bad in this software , but if i have to point out something , then firstly , adobe now only have monthly subscriptions and we cant purchase the software for lifetime unlike past times and secondly as premiere pro is a very advanced software so it can be difficult and time consuming for new users to get used to it.

I tested Adobe PP as a potential video editing software. I create video content for social media (YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook), websites, and e-courses. I also occasionally will edit videos for clients.
Pros
What I love about Adobe Premiere Pro is the absolute control the user has over the software. This, of course, is completely determined by the users skill level. For a novice, PP will feel like an absolute roadblock, but for a seasoned pro will find comfort in having endless tools at their disposal. The color grading, in particular, is a stellar feature amongst entry level video editing softwares. Another pro is the seamless integration with other Adobe apps
Cons
I absolutely hate the User interface and user experience. This software looks and feels complicated and I get a headache just looking at it. When I was deciding between this and Final Cut Pro, one of the major factors in my decision to stay with FCP was that the interface is clean, simple and even beautiful. PP's is complicated, bulky and anything but beautiful. I'd go as far as to call it ugly. It feels discouraging and impossible to figure out when looking at it. The other side of having so many tools at your disposal is that it's complicated to find what you need because there are so many.
Reasons for Switching to Adobe Premiere Pro
I did not choose Adobe PP ultimately because of the price, complicated layout and hideous UI. I do believe that there are certain scenarios where PP will be the better choice over a FCP etc, but most people getting into video editing as a hobby or as a content creator will be much better off opting for Final Cut by Apple.- Industry: Design

One Of The Best Video Editing Softwares
Reviewed on 12/1/2022

Overall my experience with Adobe Premiere Pro has been very good because of my many years of using it. It allows me to edit videos for my YouTube channel, for business or even for mobile apps like Instagram or Tik Tok. It takes some getting used to because of its overwhelming configurations but when you use it more and more you start to feel more comfortable.
Pros
The best thing about this software is its multi-purpose use. If you're a new video editor that's making funny videos for your friends or someone making a short film for a festival Adobe Premiere Pro is qualified for both. Professionals can use it knowing they have a lot of functions to create the vision they've been putting in their head, including special effects, animations, tracking shots, etc... But if you're just looking to create a small montage of video and pictures for a school project Premiere Pro allows you to do just that. It sounds cheesy but really the only limit this software has is your imagination, although that is to say that this is more specific to editing videos and not making special effects (which there are more specialized programs for things like that)
Cons
What I liked least about this is just how complicated it can be for a novice or even an intermediate user. Because there's so many things that you can do in this program there's a lot of options that can be toggled or opened that could make the software do things that maybe you don't want to do. Even accidentally pressing a single key on your keyboard could do something and now you're unsure how to revert back because you don't know what you did. It's also not very easy on the eyes as a beginner because there's just so many options and windows on screen that it almost gives a bit of anxiety to someone who just wants to put a few clips together for a YouTube video.

I have tried several times alternative applications, but I have to admit that I always came back to Premiere Pro. When I tried other applications, at some point I was confronted to some limitations, where Premiere Pro wasn't. If you only need basic editing tools and don't edit regularly, you'd better acquire another product that you'll pay once and will be cheaper than Premiere Pro. But if you want to go a bit further in the editing and be sure to have almost all the tools under the hand, I'll highly recommend to use Adobe Premiere Pro.
Pros
High level of tools in many domains (video, image, audio editing...).Not the best, but very good level already of Color editing thanks to the integrated LuminatiQuite good stabilisation tool.Export very powerful for many output purpose.Regular new features and updates (but of course you pay for it each month...)
Cons

My experience with Adobe Premiere Pro has been exceptional, it has never failed me, I have been able to do everything I wanted. Integration with the Adobe ecosystem seems to me to be the key to the success of this program, because it brings together the best of all Adobe programs and gives you a very powerful tool for managing audiovisual content.
Pros
Premiere Pro is the best video editor because it does everything you ask of a video editor and gives you so much more, the control and tools it gives you to work on a video are insane. Premiere Pro brings together everything great about the Adobe ecosystem, from great image control in Photoshop, to handling animations in After Effect, it's a great Swiss Army knife. The video editing works great, the audio handling is also amazing, the number of filters and tools to work with images is unique, the ease of working with animations you won't find in any other video editor and the integration with the Adobe ecosystem is the cherry on top of the cake. Adobe Premiere is the best and there is no discussion, if you want your work to look professional and well done, you have to work with Premiere.
Cons
Adobe Premiere Pro has few weaknesses, but there are. High quality video rendering is too slow, should be better optimized. The Windows version does not work as well on Mac. It is not a program that can be used by any computer, it is very demanding, at the level of specifications.

Pros
As a user of Adobe Premiere Pro, I can say that this software has many advantages. First of all, it is relatively easy to learn, even for beginners in video editing. Secondly, it offers a great deal of flexibility in terms of video formats, resolutions and frame rates, which makes it possible to work on projects of different types and qualities. In addition, Adobe Premiere Pro offers a wide variety of editing tools and visual effects to customize and enhance my videos. Finally, its integration with the other software in the Adobe suite, such as After Effects or Photoshop, greatly facilitates my production workflow. In summary, Adobe Premiere Pro is a complete and efficient video editing software that allows me to produce professional quality projects.
Cons

Adobe Premiere Pro, an ideal video editor for any Youtuber

Personally, after testing this video editor for so long, I have become very used to it, I like what it has to offer and it almost always does everything I ask for, sadly it doesn't allow me to create presets in some aspects like audio mixing, but generally, we can customize many functions of this video editor.
I use other Adobe software regularly so the investment in Premiere Pro is less expensive, maybe it is not the best video editor, but it is a very good one and you will always find a tutorial to create what you have in mind.
Pros
I like Adobe Premiere Pro, it's a highly powerful software and I can always achieve great quality in every project I do in this video editor, sometimes I imagine Adobe Premiere as a sandbox, I can always create something from 0 in this video editor because it allows me to build and develop all aspects of a video or major post-production without the need to have to resort to other software to complete my idea.
I personally believe that Adobe Premiere Pro is the ideal video editor for people who are familiar with photoshop and enjoy it because just like with that photo editor, the possibilities with Adobe Premiere are endless.
Cons
The Adobe Premiere Pro interface is disgusting, it's full of many menus and divisions that sometimes we will not use or simply aren't useful for our workflow, we can edit the video editor view, but at first, it looks very saturated and this makes us wonder where to start.
We can only buy Premiere Pro if we pay the subscription to the Adobe suite, so if we only want to use a video editor, it can be expensive and not suitable for all budgets. So I would only recommend Premiere Pro for the multitasking editor who likes the workflow of the Adobe software and who can take advantage of the whole Adobe bundle

When I was ready to upgrade from a free video editing software, Premiere was the one I heard about the most. Overall I’ve been satisfied. Sometime I will try out other editing tools because it’s a good idea to be versatile. But not because I have any major complaints about Premiere. I think it's a solid professional video editing tool.
Pros
As far as learning Premiere, you can find plenty of courses and YouTube tutorials out there. I actually got a free trial to LinkedIn Learning and took a beginner course for the current version of Premiere at the time. The instructor was very thorough and helpful in getting me started.
I like that Premiere has a few preset workspace layouts that you can choose from depending on the phase of your project and the tools you need handy. Customizing a layout to your preference and saving it for future use is also quite easy. At first I was worried about moving things around and not being able to put it back the way it was. But fortunately Premiere has a Reset Layout feature.
The keyboard shortcuts are very helpful once you get the hang of them - especially the ones you use most. I haven’t tried customizing shortcuts, but I gather that's fairly easy as well.
One of the upgraded features that I’ve been very impressed with is Premiere's transcription. The few times I've used it so far, I hardly had to make any corrections - much more accurate than other services I've tried. If you're creating captions - or subtitles - they show up as clips on their own track. If you do need to adjust the timing a bit, you can edit the captions on the Timeline just like any other clips. All this saves so much time in making your videos accessible.
Cons
To feel really at ease with using Premiere takes continual practice. One of my main challenges is that I do other work besides video editing. When I come back to Premiere after not using it for a while, I feel a bit lost and overwhelmed at first.
Because the interface is quite elaborate, I sometimes get hung up trying to find the menu for a certain task or setting. Even if I've used it before, I just can't remember where it is.

I love Adobe Premiere and I've been using it for almost two decades. So, I think this is one of the most essential tools for a media creative person. Not knowing anything about editing I felt a bit lost at the beginning using Premiere, but it eventually got under my skin and actually presented as a good practice base for learning by doing. So even tho the UI feels cluttered at first it eventually opened all the functions needed for effective editing to me and I started to like it and using it with ease. The good thing is it does not push you into any "trendy" editing as other editors might presenting and focusing on "the one feature which is hip now.
Pros
The consistency of editing style and approach is great. Even if I learned using Premiere 15 years ago, I still am able to use it today - only discovering new features. But the basics are still the same. Only better.
Cons
The workspace setup is strange and sometimes I close some of the editing windows and there is a way to open them separately, but looking in the menus where to find them is tedious. So reseting the workspace is quicker (but also embarrasing :) )It also does not give you realtime preview on a weak machine and there was no "quick preview render" function.

It is a great video editing software, it certainly allows you to generate completely professional results, it has all the necessary options for large-scale video editing.
What I like the most:
- Its interface is orderly, you can find the tools even though it has a great variety.
- Its library of effects and transitions, both audio and video, is very complete.
- The export options are super complete and customizable, you can set the output profile of your video in detail in every way
- The timelines are very well thought out, you can adapt them to your editing needs and it allows you to work in detail, both with the video and the audio.
- Audio editing seems to me to be better achieved than in other programs of its kind, it is simpler and more customizable.
- It is compatible with other programs of the same brand, so media imports work correctly.
Cons
In my case, what I don't like about this program has to do with the learning curve for users who are not professionals on the subject, understanding that for a professional it could be advantages.
- Longer learning curve than other programs of this type
- Requires a large processing capacity and disk space
- It requires more knowledge on the subject of videos, to be able to correctly configure many of its tools.
- The cost is higher than other solutions
- It seems to me that the rendering of the final video is slower than in other programs, although with better final results.
- Being able to see the edition in preview in a fluid way requires a very good computer equipment.

My experience with Premiere Pro has been amazing. Premiere Pro provides quality to its users. I can edit and tweak videos for my clients to fulfill their needs. It is comfortable to use. Plus, you can find all the tools you need to make your videos look appealing and professional.
Pros
Premiere Pro is the best video editing software out there. I've been using Premiere Pro for a few years. I can only say it is reliable, convenient and easy to use. Premiere Pro hands you any tool you would need to make your videos professional; all in one place.
Cons
Adobe could work more on its software, fix the recurring bugs and simplify the interface for new users.
