The integration capacity is simply impressive. I can easily connect all my services and technologies, giving me a bird's-eye view of my environment and allowing me to easily identify any issues or bottlenecks.
Pros
What I love the most about this platform is its incredible ability to provide complete visibility into my cloud infrastructure. I am able to centrally monitor and analyze all my systems, applications and services, allowing me to make quick and informed decisions on any incidents or poor performance.
Cons
There are times when I have experienced difficulties with initial setup and integration with certain services. Although they offer extensive documentation and support, it may still require some time and effort to fully familiarize myself with all the features and settings.

Has A Great Features, But Keep an Eye on the Bill!
Reviewed on 22/9/2023
Pros
It is awesome for monitoring everything - I mostly used it for apps and servers. It is easy to use, customizes dashboards, and plays well with other tools. Real-time insights are a big help. It is a bit pricey, but it's worth it for the peace of mind it brings.
Cons
It can get a tad pricey when you scale up. Plus, the learning curve can be a bit steep for beginners. And, the free tier isn't as generous as some others out there. It used a lot of my computer's memory.

My experience has been very positive. Since I started using the platform, I have had a much clearer and more detailed view of the health and performance of my infrastructure.
Pros
As a user, what I like the most is its wide set of features and functionalities that allow me to have complete visibility of my infrastructure. I can monitor and analyze metrics in real time, correlate data from different sources, track performance issues, and receive instant alerts and notifications when something is going wrong.
Cons
Setting up and customizing alerts can be a bit complex and take me a bit of time to master. The ability to adjust alert thresholds and conditions could be more intuitive and easier to understand.

DataDog is great!
Reviewed on 16/12/2022
Pros
We now have billions of logs hitting Data Dog every month. It's a great tool for monitoring and debugging what is going on in the platform. We have alserts setup based on the logging so we are instantly notified of any issues.
Cons
Some of the JSON parsing on nested logs come out a little wonky. We overcame this by adding specific logs from our applications that we can search on.

Synthetic Testing Rocks!
Reviewed on 14/12/2022
Pros
As a non-technical QA person, I needed a tool to help automate tests without a lot of the technical aspects. Datadog allows me to build and schedule tests by clicking through the online version of our tool, making it incredibly simple. It also records what's wrong and allows me to edit the paths at any time if we ever make changes.
Cons
I wish I was able to use this same functionality for our mobile app or even for processes like account creation. Since we push our sign up through a payment portal we're unable to use Datadog in the same was there.

Overall, Datadog can be a useful tool for businesses that need to track and examine complex systems, but it may not be the best option for many businesses, especially those with limited budgets or less complex monitoring requirements.
Pros
-User friendly-Easily implementable-Detailing of Logs-best fit for all organizations
Cons
Understanding Datadog can be difficult, especially for those who are new to monitoring and analytics. Nonetheless, it has a plethora of capabilities and integrations that make it an effective tool for tracking and analysing complex systems. Datadog's pricing may be somewhat high in comparison to other tools of a similar nature, particularly for larger enterprises or those with high data ingestion rates. It offers a variety of pricing plans, including a free plan, to assist organisations of various sizes and needs in finding a plan that works for them.

Pros
Search Filter I liked the most in Datadog. We can easily find the desired data thru search parameters and on top of that we can filter out the data by specifying a date range.
Cons
In the Search filter, we have to follow specific Datadog standards. It becomes slow when data is available in large amounts.

Very helpful to have a full suite of observability tools. Customer support could be better.
Pros
Overall observability is good, and the way all of the offerings interact is helpful.
Cons
basic APM requires code customization, which isn't the case with competing products. Documentation for anything beyond basic integration is lacking. Customer support is a bit of a bait and switch; great during eval, and bad once you've bought the product.

Best all-in-one monitoring tool
Reviewed on 15/12/2022
Pros
Being able to combine all of our analytics tools in one place makes it easy to find the right information to investigate, monitor, and resolve operational issues quickly. Combining products like logs and APM traces makes both tools even more powerful for finding and understanding problems with our applications.
Cons
If there's one drawback, it's the cost, which can become expensive for monitoring high-throughput systems or systems with a lot of hosts.
