Overall, I love OneDrive and the ease with which it interact with the rest of our Microsoft office applications.
Pros
Streamlined data storage and file management that is fully integrated into our basic computer operating system makes it extremely easy to learn and use.
Cons
Sometimes it is too easy to edit causing a "too many cooks in the kitchen" situation with more users making updates than there should be.

A simple and effective product with a suite of powerful tools in the background that can help from Microsoft.
Pros
A great product that is easy to use and control users data, also backs up nicely with 365 products to make it easy for users to never lose their data.
Cons
It's a bit tricky to get the data to be configured in a way that allows users to share data but also prevents confidential information being shared, once you've spent sometime on this thought it's pretty good.

Could be a little bit more user friendly. OneDrive lists recent activities but you cannot perform certain tasks from this list like downloading. There are issues when using older versions of Microsoft word (e.g. difficulty opening up the document). Overall, it's fine and if you are using product occasionally, it's free.
Pros

A great cloud file storage tool

We use OneDrive as part of our Microsoft 365 subscription and integrate it with Microsoft’s Power Platform. It is a workhorse in our org. We still do a fair bit of document generation, as most people do I’m sure; paperless doesn’t mean the docs go away! 😁 That being the case, we use OneDrive to house a good number of files. It has come a long way and, while it isn’t perfect, it is a fantastic tool. Also, it plays nice with file backup tools. We backup everything to a local server daily and this was easy to do and just works.
Pros
Super easy to use and integrate across Microsoft products. Managing access is easy for individuals and organizations. It also has some nice options to limit what is stored locally, which is awesome for conserving drive space but has issues if the user isn’t always online. Thankfully, an option exists to keep everything on device, so this is easy to get around if needed. And it plays nice with most mobile devices, so you can always get to what you need.
Cons
It can be unclear to users how to do things or why issues occur. It is helpful to have an expert available for user issues. Another issue is how MS has removed the ability to turn off file collaboration in some “versions” of OneDrive (the version is actually the same but certain devices get different versions of that version. It is so stupid in my opinion.). Functionally, this means that saving files using VBA and dynamically generating the name can have issues when offline. There are workarounds, but the “always online” stance from MS isn’t great for employees in the field.

As an attorney, I've used OneDrive as a secure cloud storage solution for managing and sharing legal documents and case files. Its collaboration features make it easy to work with colleagues and clients in real-time. The integration with Microsoft Office tools has been invaluable for drafting and editing documents together. Additionally, its strong security measures, including encryption, help protect sensitive client data. Overall, OneDrive has been an essential tool for improving efficiency and streamlining document management in my practice.
Pros
We love OneDrive here at the firm! It is a highly versatile cloud storage solution, which seamlessly integrates with our Microsoft 365 and allows for easy collaboration with all our team members, automatic version history if you forget to save different versions, and real-time editing. We love that it works on our Macs as well. The last and most important feature we appreciate is its security features like file encryption and ransomware detection which keeps our clients' data safe.
Cons
There is not much that I could say I dislike about OneDrive. Syncing issues sometimes.

OneDrive is excellent, especially when we need to share a confidential file and can protect it with a password. We also appreciate the customization options for folders, allowing us to change folder colors, like making one purple or red, for easy organization. Additionally, we value the ability to adjust storage limits, choosing between options like 1 TB or 2 TB as needed.
Pros
We’ve been using OneDrive in our organization and appreciate how it enables us to organize files more effectively. We also value its ability to limit access, allowing us to share specific folders exclusively with certain departments, such as Human Resources, for example.
Cons
Two issues we have with OneDrive are, first, the slowdown we experience when syncing desktop files to OneDrive. For example, if we sync a large folder full of files, it noticeably impacts our computer's performance, despite our devices generally being quite powerful. It would improve our experience if the syncing process caused less interference with our computers' speed.
Secondly, we frequently encounter problems with incomplete uploads, especially with folders containing subfolders, images, PDFs, and other files. Once the upload process finishes, we often see a notification stating that certain files weren't uploaded, which is frustrating. We then have to attempt re-uploading those files individually, which is both time-consuming and inconvenient. It would be helpful if OneDrive provided more detailed explanations about why certain files couldn’t be uploaded.

Pros
I use a personal computer for work and have limited storage space. OneDrive is extremely helpful as I am able to save documents, photos, etc. without maxing out my hard drive.
Cons
One issue my team has experienced with OneDrive is it has been slow to update edits among shared documents. This has occasionally led me to use other services such as Google Docs which practically instantaneous when it comes to updating edits on shared documents or sheets.

I can save files from programs like Microsoft Office directly to the OneDrive service, and it's so easy to find them when I need to use them again. My overall experience with OneDrive has been positive. I have never had any problems getting files on multiple devices. You can quickly search and download all your files on multiple devices.
Pros
The one thing I like most about OneDrive is its free to use. You can pay a subscription to get my storage if needed. I am a teacher and use multiple devices. I have a computer at work, at home, a laptop, and a tablet. I have all my devices connected to OneDrive. If I am working on an assignment at work, I can easily pick back up when I get home. I don't have to worry about saving everything to a flash drive and pray I don't forget it before leaving. I also like to have backups of everything I do. OneDrive makes it simple to search for a certain assignment
Cons
One of the cons of using OneDrive is you have to pay to get more storage. You would think they would include this when you buy a Microsoft account.

Overall it's a good cloud storage solution for backups or for more complex storage and sharing environments.
Pros
It's greatest strength is it's integration with Windows and if you are heavily invested into Microsoft's ecosystem then it works great. Compared to other alternatives like Google Drive I find t OneDrive is easier to manage file and folder structures and handles user permissions better.
Cons
Being a Microsoft product it sometimes suffers from bad UI/UX decisions, it's not the prettiest but gets the job done. Sync settings often feel overly complicated and does not work as seamless as I would like.

My overall experience with OneDrive has not been the greatest. It is buggy at times, it has file name, and file path size limits, and sometimes it deletes files out of nowhere. However, it isn't all bad, it integrates great with the Microsoft ecosystem, it is relatively cheap, it has amazing cross-platform accessibility, great collaboration features, version history, and offline access. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it unless your company relies on Microsoft365.
Pros
OneDrive seamlessly integrates with the Microsoft ecosystem, it is relatively cheap, it has cross-platform accessibility, great collaboration features, version history, and offline access.
Cons
OneDrive has a file name limit, which means that, when a file name is longer than 255 character, it will not sync. OneDrive also has a file path limit. When the path exceed 400 characters, it also won't sync, which can be inconvenient at times. Sometimes, OneDrive will delete files out of nowhere. These can be easily recoverable, it's just annoying that it happens in the first place.

It has made my digital life much easier by giving me a simple and accessible place to store files that lets me access and share files and collaborate on projects. And, whether I’m doing a personal project or working with my colleagues, OneDrive helps me have my files accessible wherever I am and on any device I use.
Pros
OneDrive is my digital file cabinet — I put everything important away and can access it whenever I want. I appreciate how well it works with Windows and other Microsoft programs, the auto backup and auto sync functions to guarantee my data is never lost or corrupt, and how much free storage it gives.
Cons
It can be a great cloud storage solution, but syncing problems from time to time can make it hard, especially when the file is large or the internet is too slow.
