Zoho is one of the industry leaders for project management software. It is has many APIs able and offers a lot of flexibility. The program is fairly easy to use and intuitive.

There are some features missing that I would like to see and it can sometimes be more time consuming to enter tasks than I would like it to be.

User-friendly interface, Comprehensive features, Customization, Collaboration tools, Integration with other Zoho applications.

Some of the common criticisms that users have mentioned about Zoho Projects. However, it's important to note that these are subjective and may not necessarily reflect everyone's experience.

ZohoProjects provides a comprehensive solution for our project management requirements, offering numerous advanced features to tackle end-to-end challenges. It serves as a centralized platform for tracking all aspects of project management. One of the standout features of ZohoProjects is it's effortless tracking of work progress, remaining hours for tasks, and weekly working hours. The real power of ZohoProjects, however, is unlocked when integrated with other Zoho products. For example, by combining timesheets with Zoho Invoice, we can easily bill consultants. The potential applications are limitless.

This product is not disliked, however, due to its extensive features, there is a considerable learning curve involved. Additionally, while Zoho projects offer mobile apps, the quality of these apps is poor. The product's task search capability is also notably weak and requires improvement in their search algorithm to enhance its overall quality.

It has about 1000 features, which is cool. Unfortunately, 999 of them are obscure, unnecessary, confusing, and remain unused. So it lacks proficiency in the most basic and most necessary of features.

Zoho Projects is truly one of the least intuitive, most frustrating softwares I have ever used. It's been nothing but a headache from start to finish with some of the worst UX/UI I've ever seen and it lacks some of the most basic tools a project management software should have. I'm so relieved to be moving on.

I use it just a few weeks but I am very content with its easy-to-use interface and automation of task such as reminders, notification etc. The mobile app is also very user friendly.

It is online tool so it can't be used without internet connection (for example during traveling it is sometimes a problem to use it).

Kan Ban is that I use the most. Other features are good too.

Projects sorting by number is not available. That would be a good feature to have.

Zoho Projects has a great user interface that is easy to use and navigate. It has all the features I need to manage my projects and tasks, and I can keep track of the progress of the project. The reporting and analytics features are great, and I can easily access the information I need.

Zoho Projects can be slow at times and the customer support could be improved. The dashboard could also be more customizable, as it can be difficult to find the information I need.

The number of features from Zoho Projects is impressive. Practically every feature we needed for our project management could be done, at a price no other platform could match. You can set billable and non-billable hours, you can clock into a timer for all tasks, and the task creation setup is pretty robust.

The interface has improved a ton in the 3 years I've been using the platform, and you can tell the developers are constantly trying to improve stability and features for users.

As great as the features are, the functionality of the software can be quite frustrating. The interface is bland and can be very difficult to navigate. We can usually find what we need but finding it can be quite the challenge.

Along with that, some features have head-scratching quirks that we've never been able to figure out. For instance, every time we create a new project it will only add *some* of the managers to the project, instead of all of them, even though there's no difference in their permissions. It's a technically *stable* software, but we often grow envious of other, more functional project management software that's out of our price range.

Has all the high level features you would want from a basic project management software. Projects, tasks, issues, share access with customers, custom fields, discussions, calendars, finances. Integrates with other Zoho products like Desk and Books.

The integrations are flaky. Integration with Zoho Desk is very limited and we ran into several bugs setting it up. The integration with Zoho Books doesn't work well for our workflow so we end up creating invoices manually in Books instead of using the integration.
The system doesn't remember your preferred view and constantly changes on you.
The Kanban view is next to useless. It allows for no sorting at all! It doesn't display any additional useful information like priority/severity.
Support is lackluster. They will respond, but not really directly address your issue. My takeaway from this is that the system is the way it is, take it or leave it.
Because of all the small UI quirks and bugs it wastes a lot of your time.
I find the settings difficult to navigate. Even though I fairly often change settings, I still have trouble finding the proper project level settings every time I need to change something.

Zoho prototypes are difficult to customize. Its scalability is somewhat constrained for certain features. It is helpful for project creation, but it lacks a forum for individual communication. People do not like to rely on Zoho tasks to switch works to Excel in order to communicate with others.

We enjoyed setting this program up because it had flexibility to allow us to set it up for our marketing business and also cosmetics. We had many contractors too so it was great we could track their times for each task.

Once we started adding more users, it became too expensive. In the end, we had to step away from this because we had over 30 users and we needed something that wouldn't charge so much for adding new users. We needed a better package deal. Support was terrible and they tried to lure us in with paying for support.

Easy to learn interface. Adaptable to our business needs. Very good for a cooperative or individually-based environments.

We do a lot of searching for tasks. However, when you are inside one of the few dozen projects we have, we can only search for tasks within the project. It would be great to have a search where all tasks are displayed, no matter where you are inside Projects. This would be great for how we have adapted the software for our needs.

It is easy to set up and use and can be used to manage any size or type of project. The customer service response times can be slow.

That all Tasks and TaskLists under a given Milestone automatically inherit the property of either internal- or external-facing. This often causes us to replicate the WBS - one copy under internal-facing Milestone(s), the other copy under external-facing Milestone(s).

The interface is simple, intuitive and easy to use. It is a project management tool with all basic functionalities. They provide Timesheets, which help you in tracking time. You can keep track of your all projects by switching between multiple projects. You can check out the Kanban view to keep a track of the internal tasks. The application helps to list tasks and subtasks, and you can assign resources to these subtasks. Helps in creation of reports and forms for your project. Customer service and support team are very responsive. The application is easy to set up and allows easy navigation and configuration. Integrated with other applications like Zoho Bugs and G Suite applications.

The free version lacks a lot of features in comparison to the paid one. The absence of a group chats feature. The application encountered errors while working with QuickBooks. It is quite difficult to work on the mobile phone version. You can’t add multiple employees to different projects at the same time.

The best think i found about this tool is its customer support service and chat feature where you can chat with its representatives.
this is more suitable for small projects/team or an individual and comparatively cheaper as compared to the other products with the same functionalities and use. it provides use multiple views which helps user if in case he/she is not comfortable with the default view.
some feature really impress me like milestone,task-list,setting timer on your task, having multiple views to set, ability to restrict the client access to the limited/unlimited number of projects. in a small team it makes easy project monitoring overall for a small team size or individual i will recommend this product.

i have faced difficulty with its integration with few apps like Quickbooks and stuck with the reports when run across the projects. so suitable only for the projects under one umbrella.
Reports lack some data about the customer and projects there can be some data that can be put in the reports like project detail start/end time or type of the project.Privacy is the certain cons here as it lack the privacy in-between users to users and client.
Also a drawback which might have been resolved in new version of this software is the less number of filters while preparing for chart/reports.

Zoho project is easy to setup and navigate.Some of the major feature are-
*Easy track to complex project by setting milestone, sub task and task list etc which help in reaching deadline
*Buit in chat room- User can chat 1 on 1 or in group with no limit. It help us to stay connected with each member
*Integration- It can be integrated with all major application like drop box,slak even with jira.

There customer care is the only problem here. They dont response quickly.

Timesheet is one of its best feature which is usually a separate paid addon if we go ahead with a usual project management application. the fact that there is also an easy integration with other aplications in the Zoho suite makes using Zoho projects a default choice.

Beng able to adjust the views on the basis of the requirement and roles makes it good to use for all the people in the company hierarchy and not just the team leads.

If used in a proper manner, helps to improve the efficiency of the team at a huge level.

Creating a project is easy to do, but keeping it updated becomes a tricky task at times and a specific person needs to be allocated for the same. The Gantt view is not always in the perfect manner due to the complexity of tasks in a small team.
Creating sub task list within a sub task is not an option so planning of creating a project needs to be done with that in mind.

Very easy to use, consistently reliable. Great notifications and flexibility of configuration. Easy categorization of types of issues that can be tracked in a number of different ways.

Like most Zoho products, it is intended for a mainstream audience which can make it very easy to use but sometimes, it can be a little limited for power users although we have always been able to find a workaround for solutions that we are trying to achieve.

I liked the fact that Zoho Projects is a powerful and easy to use project management software that allows me to better manage and organize my projects. It has a great interface that's easy to navigate and understand, and it has a wide range of features that make it a great tool for managing projects of all sizes and complexities. Additionally, the software integrates with other Zoho products, making it easy to manage multiple projects from one platform.

I was extremely satisfied with the Zoho Projects platform, frankly, there was nothing I didn't like.
