> I stopped looking for a Version Cue replacement when I found Zoom. I had tried Subversion, Git, and several other "code based" repositories. Even had a brief stint with Extensis Portfolio. But none came close to the power and flexibility of Zoom. 

The single most influential feature Zoom offers is the image file compare. Graphical diff\! It can highlight the changes made between two image files - incredible. Zoom also seems to be more efficient at storing digital assets than some of the other DAM providers. Probably due to being optimized for graphical content - great for me.

The integration with the Creative Suite of applications is simply elegant. You get a whole palette dedicated to the Zoom functions. Now I must admit this could be a double-edged sword for some who are not accustomed to a full-fledged repository server. Granted Version Cue was simple to use and Zoom can be just as simple if you choose to not use all the features to their maximum. 

I found Zoom while I was looking to replace Version Cue. I recommend it as an ideal replacement for Version Cue.

I would recommend Evolphin products to anyone looking for the kinds of solutions they offer.

> I use Evolphin Zoom in a single-user environment as version control for our Buzz-o-sonic software. It is easy to use and offers great peace of mind when developing new versions of our signature product. It is particularly useful for use in complicated environments such as LabVIEW.
