About vintrace
vintrace, formerly known as VINX2, is a cloud-based winery management solution for boutique, small-medium and enterprise level wine production and cider-making businesses. Designed with an emphasis on streamlining information flow within a business, the software boasts intelligent integration with other leading winery systems alongside connectivity with Xero's accounting platform via add-on. Features include cost tracking using activity / standard costing methodologies, sales order and purchase order raising, email invoicing, plus centralized work order management for directing cellar tasks. Vineyard sampling tracks trends in brix, pH, TA and more to pick grapes at the optimal times, while fruit arrival information can be captured alongside logging crush and press data for accurate yield reporting.
Subsequent standard features include the management of fermentation rounds, bulk wine blending programs, barrelling, harvest scheduling, plus the handling of grower contracts and payment processing. Lab work can be centrally managed at in-house or external lab locations using vintrace's built-in Lab Console, where trial blending allows mock cellar blends to be analyzed for composition.

Pros
Made for and design by people who understand contract winemaking
Constant upgrades
Cons
Don't like the new layout, but as long as i can have access to the classic view all good

A fantastic winery software program, easy to use and great support staff. Would recommend to any winery, from boutique operations to multi site contract facilities.

- Great user interface, logical set out
- Fantastic support and webinars to get up and running in using the software
- cloud based, can login in from off site
- app easy to use for recording on the run
Cons
- stocktake process a little clunky

Vintrace - great program & app

Pros
Vintrace is a great program which allows us to track all that goes on in the winery. The app is great too, to get info while out in the cellar. We have a barrel scanner too, which saves a lot of time from filling barrels through to having the stickers on the barrels.
Cons
I would like to have more visibility of small additives.
Also while the app is great, we don't need to ever change the varitey of a wine, but we do need to change the locations, which we can not at the moment.

Great features and ease of use

Pros
It is very easy to use. There are a lot of features that make Vintrace very powerful and you can get a lot out of it.
Cons
Topping barrels can be a little annoying with having to break a barrel group to then top them if you are using different wines to top with or get an accurate amount into specific barrels

It is good we can use the old version of vintrace even after the major update. Vintrace developer team is quite user friendly. Also, Vintrace support team does always good/ quick response.
Pros
Vintrace has a good traceability of the fruits/wine and addition products. Also, good import/export system between the other software or between the other wineries.
Cons
It is difficult to handle a barrel, control/track a single barrel, or join a barrel to the barrel group.
