What is InStaff?

InStaff is an employee self-service portal and online pay stub delivery tool for small and medium businesses built to integrate and synchronize data with existing payroll and ERP systems. The cloud-based tool aims to reduce the physical and environmental costs related to printing and delivering pay stubs to employees by processing all aspects of the pay period online.

With InStaff, employers can deliver pay stubs online and their employees can view them within the self-service portal. Employees can access, save, and download their pay stubs, entire pay history, and tax forms through the secure self-service portal, and can recover previous pay stubs using search functionality. The InStaff portal also facilitates the delivery of other company documents such as employee manuals, policies, request forms, waivers, and more, and permissions can be managed to control which employees have access to each file.

Hours can be tracked within InStaff with customizable time tracking forms which allow employees to input their time worked with fields for regular hours, overtime hours, nightshift, comments, and more. An approval workflow can be configured in order to determine who is responsible for each employee based on business hierarchies. Employees can request vacations and time off from the self-service portal and employers have the ability to approve or deny the request, with an email notification sent to confirm the response.

For employers and employees alike, InStaff can be used to find one another using the in-built, searchable employee database which includes profiles for each employee including their job role, contact details, office location, and any additional notes to help others find them. Company and team announcements can be broadcast through InStaff and each employee can view their announcements whenever they login to the portal.
