
About Skillcast
Skillcast is a cloud-based learning management system designed to help small to large businesses train their employees on regulatory compliance and other business-critical initiatives. Features of the platform include corporate branding, automated follow-ups, HR data integration, multilingual support, and management information (MI) reports.
Skillcast offers off-the-shelf (OTS) as well as bespoke solutions that enable users to either choose from the existing compliance course library or create custom modules to suit their requirements. The course library includes ready-made courses on various topics such as data protection, anti-money laundering, common health and safety hazards, general data protection regulation (GDPR), insurance, risk management and client due diligence. To create custom content, users can either modify OTS modules or use the built-in content authoring and management system to create entirely new courses.
Skillcast offers a content-as-a-service platform conforming to SCORM and AICC eLearning standards. Multiple support features are provided to track progress and derive detailed insights with diagnostic reports, tracking, bookmarking, MI reporting, ad-hoc learning, and annual training plans.

Easy to use and rapidness of delivery to final users, you can schedule a new training in 3 weeks!
Cons
Reporting features could be improved, however existing ones are pretty good

My overall experience with the software is fine. I would be interested in using it more if a company required me to do compliance training.
Pros
The software is easy to use and has many features including allowing companies to manage risk and compliance courses and training.
Cons
The reports could be less bulky and designed in a simpler way for better viewing, but there are many functions to use.

Skillcast provides us with a one stop methodology of achieving regulatory compliance with the FCA training and competence rules. Its ease of use coupled with tremendous back up support is second to none and the benefit of having a dedicated Client Service Manager is priceless.
