About Norton AntiVirus
Norton Security is an on-premise anti-virus and identity protection software designed to help individuals and businesses of all sizes protect desktops, mobile devices, and data from hack attempts, malware, ransomware, and unauthorized access. The platform includes a firewall, which automatically tracks online traffic and data exchange across the internet and blocks suspicious activities to secure personal data and files from malicious attacks.
Norton Security’s password manager allows administrators to create, store, and access complex passwords from an encrypted online vault and facilitates secure internet browsing on shared or public Wi-Fi connections using the built-in virtual private network (VPN). It offers a host of features, such as cloud data backup, stolen wallet protection, credit and dark web monitoring, remote learning management, and more. Parents can also utilize the parental control functionality to monitor online activities and application download history and implement content filtering to ensure a safe browsing environment.
Norton Security includes privacy monitoring, which lets users scan and block data broker websites from accessing personal information like phone number, address, or date of birth. Enterprises can also receive text, email, or in-app notifications about data breaches, illegal identity verifications, potential threats, and other security issues.

I did myself a huge favor by installing Norton on my work laptop. It is as secure as I could expect it to be. I'm covered by Data Breach Notifications, Fictitious I.D Monitoring as well as Credit Card Activity Alerts. I'm good.
Pros
You get 50GB cloud storage space, a secure VPN, Dark Web monitoring, Password Manager, Parental Control and my favorite feature of all, SafeCam. Norton can actually notify you when your webcam has been compromised and cyber-criminals are trying to hack their way into it. Should this happen to you, Norton will block them from being able to access your webcam... how cool is that?
Cons
When it runs its operations in the background, I sometimes see that it hinders the system performance of my laptop. Granted it is not to demanding of my resources but I do still notice a slight lag when I'm using my applications.

This one is pretty good and feature packed.

Pros
The VPN feature was most noteworthy. And also the fact that I could allow specific folders pretty easily, plus I could disable certain notification permanently. Though some notification was not possible to remove. But still decent compared to alternatives. The VPN was unlimited in my purchase and it served it's purpose pretty well and was quite performant and accurate whenever used.
Cons
I did not like the activation method of the software. It was not user friendly and required a tutorial basically which was followed by new team members eventually as almost no one could activate it without knowing the tutorial. So I think the activation process would be very unappealing for the non tech savy individuals.

It offers you the bare minimum to keep your PC from further infections of malware, adware, and/or viruses. However, in my experience, I have yet to see it make my PC more optimized and failed to quarantine items that should have been. Don't rely on this product if you have prior issues on your PC that need to be addressed and cleaned out of your system.
Pros
For the basic minimum Norton offers you the firewall and web browsing security on your devices from things such as malware, adware, and viruses. Norton does offer the ability to check your website's security before entering with a green marker for the passing site and a red marker for a dangerous site. Normally Norton automatically doesn't allow you to pass through red marked sites without you selecting the button at the bottom of the screen.
Cons
Despite the fact I spent money on Norton security, I noticed no difference in the optimization of my PC. I kept cleaning my device with the scanner and Norton had not found things that another provider in security software for free had found for me, that was slowing down my PC. I was disappointed at that point.
