What is PermitTrax?

PermitTrax is a permit and land management platform for government and municipal agencies, which aids users with managing and approving building permits, code enforcement, land use applications, public records requests, and more. The platform can be hosted on premise or in the cloud and comes with an iPad application for on-the-go permit management. PermitTrax is a suite of integrated modules for permit management, plan review, inspections, code enforcement, licensing, mapping, cashiering, reporting, and more.

With PermitTrax, municipal agencies can automate and manage permit approval processes in order to provide an enhanced experience to citizens. The Citizens Connect self service portal allows applicants to track the status of their permit requests in real time, make payments, upload documents, and more. PermitTrax allows users to set up application forms for multiple permit types and automatically calculate fees. Users can carry out and assign plan reviews, schedule inspections, and track code enforcement cases within the platform.

The PermitTrax iOS application can be utilized on iPad devices to facilitate mobile inspections and allow users to input data in the field. The app also provides access to daily calendars for each employee and provides optimized routes to inspection sites. PermitTrax integrates with ArcGIS to allow users to create visual maps of jurisdictions to aid with land permit issuance.
