> **Pros**: What I like most about pfSense plus is the ability to add third party packages (after code security scans) . For example, on top of all the features you can install Snort so you can have a firewall and an intrusion detection and prevention system. I also like that I was able to use it as a certificate authority for my office network. It can run on VM (dual-nic) but their appliance makes it easier.
