## Overview

### Key benefits of Mailock

Prevent interception:
Protect customers from email interception and fraud. Mailock encrypts messages and attachments with AES-256 and asks every recipient to authenticate before they open a message, helping firms meet ICO and FCA expectations for protecting customer data.

“Can’t you just email it to me?”:
Exchange sensitive documents easily and instantly from Outlook or the Mailock web app, with peace of mind that information is shared safely.

Send identity checks by email:
Send ID, KYC, and AML identity checks by secure email, powered by LexisNexis® Risk Solutions. The client completes the check on their phone, and the results pack comes back by secure email.

Minimise paper output:
Save carbon and costs by sending documents securely by email instead of by post. Cut your paper output and support your ESG targets.
