BAAR-IGA's diverse features include: 
·         User Lifecycle Management (onboarding and terminations) 
o    This section automates the onboarding (creation of ADID, email ID, assignment of RSA token, VDI creation), offboarding, amendment, transfers, reactivation. When the source data (e.g., HRMS is changed, BAAR-IGA will action the change) 
·         Access Provisioning 
o    Once a user’s identity (e.g., ADID) has been created, access to the required applications, servers, Databases, network folders etc. are provisioned for the user based on a role designation matrix. Access is removed/changed when the user is offboarded/role changes 
·         Access Certification 
o    At regular intervals, access review campaigns are setup so a certifier can ensure the right people have access. Access reviews can be done for system access or for policies (e.g., who all has access to the internet from the work laptop) 
·         Segregation of Duties 
o    BAAR-IGA monitors user entitlements in systems and ensures separation of duties exists. SoD monitoring can be done inter system or intra system. BAAR-IGA looks at the access control lists of each system and compares it with the SoD rule matrix 
·         Policies Management

·         Self-Serve portal 
o    Identity and access platforms offer self-service password reset features. Users can independently reset forgotten passwords through secure processes, enhancing user convenience and reducing helpdesk burden. This improves productivity and security by allowing quick password recovery without administrator intervention. 
·         Identity provisioning and multi-factor authentication  
o    BAAR-IGA offers single sign on as well as multi factor authentication and adaptive multi factor authentication for all new age as well as legacy applications. BAAR-IGA also has its own authenticator app that ensures secure access using biometrics 
·         BAAR Universal Directory 
o    A universal directory, in simple terms, is a centralized database or repository that stores and manages user identities, attributes, and access privileges across various systems and applications within an organization. It provides a unified view of user information. 
·         Low-code workflows 
o    Low-code workflows streamline processes and empower organizations to design and implement identity and access management solutions with minimal manual coding, leveraging intuitive graphical interfaces and drag-and-drop functionality for quicker deployment and customization.

> **Pros**: I was part of the team who implemented BAARIGA at one of the largest NBFC group in India (35,000+ employees, 1000+ branches, more than 2,00,000 agents and 16 different Line of Businesses). This was one of the most complex environment we have ever experienced for deploying any IGA tool. BAARIGA deployment was completed and handed over within 3 weeks with all the features demonstrated successfully to Customer.
