About CryptoSpike
CryptoSpike is a data transparency and cybersecurity solution that helps businesses detect malicious software and manage remediation from a centralized interface. The platform monitors real-time transactions in the storage for abnormalities relating to file extensions or user behavior. The administrator will automatically be informed of the amount, as well as the paths of the affected files, and can check on the last transactions. In case of a genuine ransomware attack, CryptoSpike allows administrators to analyze the executed malware and transactions.
Additionally, CryptoSpike provides a blocklist of ransomware file extensions or file names, which is automatically reviewed with new entries. If a ransomware attack occurs, the granular restore feature allows for the prompt restoration of the affected files. CryptoSpike also provides server packages to use as a virtual machine on the most commonly used hypervisors. It currently supports NetApp (FAS/AFF & virtual ONTAP), Lenovo DM-Series, Dell PowerScale, and Dell Unity.
