ZEN ERP supports multiple branches/subsidiaries, currencies and languages, including automatic currency conversion, group reporting and intercompany transactions. This makes it suitable for an international company without needing separate systems for each entity.\n\nFrom a technical perspective, it is a fully web-based SaaS solution with mobile access, so there is nothing to install or maintain locally. Custom fields, data-import tools and reporting options make it quite configurable. For integration with other systems, ZEN ERP provides a REST API, which is important because it avoids locking a company into an isolated ERP environment and allows existing applications, e-commerce platforms or specialized tools to be connected.\n\nSecurity is another area where ZEN ERP seems particularly well thought out. Two-factor authentication can be enforced and works with standard authenticator apps. There is also a built-in, tamper-resistant audit trail recording who changed what and when, something that is especially valuable for finance, quality management and regulated industries.\n\nData sovereignty is a strong differentiator as well. ZEN ERP is hosted in certified Swiss data centres, with data remaining under Swiss jurisdiction. Regular encrypted backups with recovery options are included, and the company states system availability above 99%. For European and Swiss businesses concerned about confidentiality, GDPR and dependence on large US cloud providers, this is a meaningful advantage.\n\nThe Medtech use case described by Topsoft is a good example of where the system really shines. Xsensio uses ZEN ERP for areas including production, inventory, component traceability, accounting and development projects. Being able to combine operational processes with auditability and traceability makes ZEN ERP particularly interesting for Medtech, Life Sciences and other quality-sensitive industries.\n\nThe only caveat is that this level of functionality may be unnecessary for a freelancer or micro-business that only needs invoices and bookkeeping, and some additional QMS functionality is still being developed.\n\nFor a growing SME, manufacturer, distributor or internationally active company, however, ZEN ERP offers an unusually complete package.
