Bloomfire is a knowledge sharing and insights platform that helps leading companies centralize and democratize information from across their organization. Bloomfire helps break down the silos that occur when knowledge is spread out across different platforms-- or confined to the minds of a few subject matter experts. Our easy-to-use editor allows team members to create rich media posts directly in the platform or to quickly upload posts from a desktop or shared drive. Bloomfire supports over 50 different file types so that you can share knowledge in any form it takes. Users can also post questions in the platform so that everyone can see what’s been asked and answered.

Bloomfire’s AI-powered search engine deep indexes the words in all file types (including the words spoken in videos) so that users can find relevant content with a simple keyword search. Companies can also create custom categories and use multiple levels of categorization to organize content in a way that makes sense for their business. And users can discover new information through content recommendations based on their interests.

With Bloomfire’s Google-like search, Amazon-like category filters, and Pinterest-like visual preview cards, the interface is intuitive for end users and requires very little training. Bloomfire’s social features (including buttons to like, share, and comment on posts) encourage users to collaborate and stay engaged in the platform. Pros

Ease of use for users searching for products and information. Easy for users to upload information.

Cons

Nothing I can think of other than I wish it had more opportunity to download some things

Pros

The engagement part of it, with tracking/following separate contributors/topics/series.

I also like the overall layout of the lessons you can customize.

Cons

Organizing the lessons doesn`t always go as planned - lots of times tags that are supposed to be in a series or topic end up somewhere else...

Bloomfire is a user-friendly social platform that enables users to post, question, and consume information in a "system" that helps drive engagement and learning. The mobility function via their app is fantastic and separates them from their competition and was a primary driver for us using their tool.
Plus, their staff is customer-focused and responsive to our needs so you truly feel the value of the partnership.

Pros

Bloomfire is very easy to use and figure-out, it is clean and simple. The sales and support team are great to work with

Cons

While everything is mostly pros with this solutions, they do struggle with document versioning, but that is halfway offset with the new duplicate document/media feature.

The CUSTOMIZATION is probably the best feature on Bloomfire. For an agile and fast paced company, you would need to have a platform that can keep up and Bloomfire does that. I know the reporting dashboards are being built out continuously, but it would be nice to have more customization and modification as it relates to report building and such.
