Overall experience is good. The color coding works great for the differnt types of appointments I have. I can have a quick visual snapshot of my day.
Pros
Easy to access from anywhere. Color coding appointments. The ability to add a tsk while in the calendar screen is very helpful.
Cons
User interface is a bit clunky. creating an event has too many variables. The calendar will automatically send invites even when I am not ready for them to be sent.

Google Calendar: Easy to use and Integrate

I have used Google Calendar for several years now. I find it extremely helpful for me to keep up with appointments and tasks. I integrate it with a few other business applications that I have such as Zoom, and Book Like A Boss. The integrations work seamlessly and improve my productivity tremendously. I can't say enough good things about Google Calendar!
Pros
I like the fact that you can easily integrate Google Calendar with many other applications. For example, I integrated Google Calendar with my Zoom account and now it creates events in the calendar whenever I create a Zoom meeting.
I also like the ease of use. It's very easy to create a task or event.
I also like the fact that I can sync the desktop application to the app on my phone. This is VERY help.
Cons
There are a few features on the mobile app that I wish was on the desktop application. For example, when I am creating an event and want to add a new notification, on the mobile app I see the option to automatically add a notification 1 day before the event. I have to add it manually on the desktop application. But for the most part, there is very little that I don't like about Google Calendar.

Could not live without it

I switched to Google Calendar from using a paper planner. It was easier to have everything available on my phone, and to be able to share with others. I love a paper planner for a lot of reasons, but it doesn't beat the convenience of a shared calendar app like Google Calendar. I use it multiple times a day and overall I'm very happy to be able to use it, and for free.
Pros
As a person with ADHD I NEED something to keep my life organized from multiple angles--my personal schedule, those of each of my kids and my husband, my business, my part-time job... it's all in there. I love that I can have different calendars for different people, types of appointment or work, that I can sync with others, that I can integrate it with tools like TidyCal and Zoom so meetings automatically show up in it... in short, I'd be lost without it.
Cons
Syncing with other people's calendars doesn't always work perfectly. For example in my shared calendars with my kids, I can put an appointment in it and they don't always see it when they look via their own devices. It doesn't happen very often though.
