A Brite Source of Social Engineering!

I would recommend this, and have it for people who have looked into the same sort of events that I've been looking for. This says a lot, as I keep very busy so staying abreast of local events and happenings is an ever-evolving passion of mine! I cannot yet express my opinion on what it is like as an event coordinator, however speaking with heads of such events (like Rockstar Networking for one) I hear that it's pretty seamless a process to do! People that I talk with seem satisfied with investing time and funds in their business to attract new attendees through Eventbrite.
Pros
This site looks very clean, whether on mobile or the PC and it runs smoothly in my experience. This is to say that I've yet to face any issues of crashes, bugs, or information that was misleading or inaccurate! As someone who has used Eventbrite for both local hobby-related events and job-hunting, this is a good source to help keep both of those walks of life organized in one location.
Cons
As the growing need for more broad access to websites for people with certain needs, the fact that it doesn't have its own "Dark mode'' for viewing is something that I highly wish would change. It's becoming more and more common for sites to address this on the web that touches on socializing more, as people tend to spend high numbers of hours in a day, at any given time, looking at the site. This is, so far, the only critique that I have thus far, as a consumer/attendant for events.

The experience was not a good one. Tickets were purchased, card was charged, but there was no confirmation given and it was hard getting in contact with anyone in customer service to find out how to receive the actual tickets.
Pros
It seemed simple and easy to use for a variety of activities
Cons
Horrible customer service and unsecure website

I like using Eventbrite for our organisation's events as it means that ticketing and guest list is all held in one place and I can schedule event reminders to automatically send by email near the time of the event. However, it can be complicated to use and expensive.
Pros
Helpful for managing event ticketing, and I like the feature to schedule event reminders. There are a lot of advanced features if you need them.
Cons
It can be complicated to set up an event if you don't need to use any of the advanced features.
Reasons for Switching to Eventbrite
Overall it worked out as the best balance of price and functionality. We also already had been using Eventbrite for a while so didn't want to have to migrate over to a new product.- Industry: Marketing & Advertising

Overall, I always have a positive and happy experience using this service. It’s an old standby for community events, classes, or free services. It’s easy to browse and locate relevant & interesting local events in your area.
Pros
Eventbrite is simple, straightforward and easy to use! The software is all event-based so you’ll be guided through the navigation by prompts. Just RSVP, right? It really is that easy.
Cons
Seems a bit clunky based on how long the website has been exactly the same. Surely they could streamline things a bit more? Often the event organizer reaches out off platform anyway. The software is mainly to capture your RSVP and save attendees info in one place.
